It expands to the good height and made of quality materials. I find it quite versatile, use a lot and overall happy with my purchase. However, I found it not being quite sturdy when I try to adjust a phone position manipulating a goose neck. It looks like the weight of iPhone 14 is heavy enough to topple the tripod over. Second con for me is the weight- I had a plastic tripod before and it was way lighter which was making it way easier to pack and travel. This tripod had metal parts and it makes it heavier. However the quality of material and build is way superior to the plastic one and it’s higher. I rate is 5 stars, however, it does come with some limitations

I use to make guitar videos along with a Bluetooth record remote. Very easy to adjust and extremely portable. Fold up easy for storage and good build quality for money.

The part that holds the phone does swivel. I wasn’t sure about that part so that’s good. It’s also not a “loose” swivel so it stays in place. You can adjust the tension of the swivel on the back of the phone holder part. For those that say it can tip over when the flexible part is on. This is true, however, the base is VERY adjustable to how WIDE you want it. Tip: put the phone part aligned with one of the legs on the base and it should not tip over on an even surface. I highly recommend. Seems sturdy and built strong, especially for the cost. I wish I bought this much sooner. I use it next to my bed or couch to watch videos etc so my arms don’t hurt after while.

As a video content creator, I wanted an inexpensive yet reliable cell phone mount when using the camera. The tripod has plenty of height adjustment and the cell phone holder is rotatable. The only note is that the spring-loaded cell phone holder is strong, so mounting the phone BEFORE extending the tripod is recommended. After numerous video productions, there have been no failures to date.

This tripod was easy to use.I did not have to thumb through any instructions to make use of it.I give it only 4 stars because the feet don't spread far enough to compensate safely if it is fully extended in height.If you bend the neck far to the side while at max height you can feel the weight shift if not on a solid surface (carpet for example).This unit is excellent when using it in all its upright positions.
