Boomwhacker Tuned Percussion Tube Sets Chromatics Set

I use Boomwhackers on a daily basis and have 3 octaves worth (four using the caps). They are a great tool for my work with music with children as they require very little hand eye co-ordination to play. I have used these with 2-60+ year olds and they always great. Over time they do start to wear out, I have several with cracks in now. However I am using these at least an hour a day during school term time, as long as they aren't beeing bent, hit on edges of tables etc or hit to hard they last a long time!

I would not have believed how much fun can be had with friends and family simply by banging bits of plastic off bodily parts (generally your own...). Granted a fair number of our family are musical, but even friends who have shown no musical inclinations have been seen to challenge themselves to bang the right bit of plastic in the right place at the right time, and to fall about laughing in some sort of communal hysteria.YouTube is full of pieces to play along with as well as examples of what can be achieved. It's just some coloured plastic tubes but so much fun! Great to give as an unusual gift. They seem quite thin / brittle but you can really whack them & they're fine. I would recommend getting bothe the major & chromatic sets so you have the full scale to play more songs.
