Mostly an esthetic purchase
This is a great coaster for a coaster!One thing for sure, the Echo held by this stand isn't going anywhere. The silicone ring on the bottom of the stand is so grippy that there is no way it is going to slide or tip over. I'm not sure there is any possibility of that happening to a straight out of the box Echo because I didn't test that. I got this primarily for esthetic reasons, not for stability, etc. The Echo looks really nice in this stand. I got the dark charcoal Echo and the black version of this stand. I think a contrasting stand might look better, a black stand with a light colored Echo and a silver stand with a dark colored Echo, but I'm satisfied with my original choice.The manufacturer's packaging of the stand was superb, but of course that ends up in the trash minutes after receiving this stand.

Outstanding Appearance, a little Style for Alexa
I saw these recently on Amazon, and I thought the Black would look great with my Heather Gray Echo 2nd Gen.Take a look at the picture... It's so simple, yet it provides some added protection from knocking it over, water spills, and it just looks Awesome. I ordered 5, so glad I did... A little assembly involved and their are two hex screws, and it comes with the wrench in the box. I put a small drip of thread lock on mine thinking maybe the vibration over time may loosen the screws.

I wanted a stand for the Alexa echo in the kitchen so it wouldn’t get wet if something spills and will prevent it from getting knocked over as easy. I got the black to go with the walnut echo. Rapid shipping. Great gift for my sister
