This beautiful little trinket was purchased with the intention of giving it to my daughter during our Winter Solstice holiday & she positively loved it. It is quite small in size but that just adds to how interesting the intricate detail in the pattern in the glass globe appears. I wouldn't describe it as being terribly durable as it's meant as a purely decorative piece & so therefore to expect a whole lot of durability would be foolishness. It's meant to "sit there & look pretty," which it does very well. Given how much my daughter enjoyed this gift though & that she still has it on display I'd say it was worth every cent paid for it.
