Polarized Men's and Women's Amberjack Rectangular Sunglasses

Had a pair of Costa’s before & these are by far more comfortable and better

What attracted me to these was the side extensions, so far so good as they seem useful in blocking side glare. Amberjack's could be a bit large for a medium sized head yet still fit snugly. Overall heavier and bulkier than my other pairs (too many to list). As with any MJ products, the lenses are premium as these were specifically for brighter conditions. I'm still a big fan of the nose bridge extensions, which these don't have. They fit on a hat ok when not in use and dont slip off when leaning over. The lanyard holes are a major bonus, as are the case and cloth.

These are fantastic sunglasses! There is absolutely nothing half-done on them and no corners were cut in the build quality. They look great. Given the price point on these, I consider them a luxury brand; the quality of manufacture does live up to this, and they're made in Italy. They fit my 23.5" head snugly without pinching - but given that the frames are plastic, they are not very adjustable. They should fit most adults well, but check the sizing and what fits your face to be sure that these will be in that size range. They come with an "origami" case - quite clever. It folds flat when not in use and becomes 1/2" thick; you can unfold it to a triangular state that then holds the sunglasses inside. It's smart! The glasses themselves work well. The color tint is sort of a blend between amber and gray, and it works well. Reds and bright colors are a bit enhanced compared to white - it's a nice overall effect and works well to shield the eyes. These are wide enough and sit close enough to the face to not have distracting undarkened borders in your visual field, which is a good thing. They weigh in at a very light 50 grams. Overall these are quite nice, look great, and are very well-made!

Sunglasses felt cheap, and very hard. Not comfortable on the nose, plastic is too hard. Also, I paid you directly with a credit card. I expected a refund to go back to my credit card, not an Amazon account credit. That is a bunch of crap.

These are impressive. They are comfortable and very stylish, and they offer wraparound type protection, without the hard to pull off wraparound look. The lenses are dark. Really dark, which is what you need to protect your eyes in my local climate. How dark are they? They are so dark and so strongly polarized that with them on, I can't read a thing on the desk top I am typing this onto. It goes completely black from certain angles! But the rest of my home looks perfect. Sharp, crystal clear, and with true colors. The tortoise shell Italian frames are a little darker than in the image. It is a subtle, very handsome effect. They are absolute quality, and perfect for those who appreciate the best.

I have never purchased higher end sunglasses, so I was very excited to try out these Maui Jim Amberjack sunglasses. The pair I bought were even made in Italy! I found the packaging to be very nice and would impress someone if received as a gift. The glasses include a cool little pouch for storage. These are slightly oversized frames on the side, to help keep light out of your eyes while doing outdoor activities. The classic black frames look great too. They do feel particularly good quality, and the hinges on the frames feel strong too. I'm pretty impressed. I think these strike a nice balance as you get a good style and good quality without completely breaking the bank. I'm glad I was exposes to Maui Jim because I think I will look for their glasses again in the future.

These Amberjack sunglasses doesn't describe them as men's or ladies so I assumed they would be unisex. When I looked it up on the Maui Jim website, I confirmed that they are sold as unisex sunglasses. I selected the tortoise shell design because that's usually always flattering for me, however, with the shape of these shades, they are way too boxy and unflattering -- of course, they are unisex in that any any gender can wear them, but they tend heavy on the masculine, compared to the feminine.

I don't like it when I spend a fortune for sunglasses and they end up being flimsy and not long lasting. I don't get that with these at all. The second I opened the box I could tell the quality was top notch. This is my thrid pair of Maui Jim's and I think these are the best made of all three. I love the protection they give my eyes while being so clear to see out of. They are a little wider than I normally like but I am very happy with them still.
