Rehydration is rather critical before casting in a high-sugar wort.
I was totally incorrect, and thought my yeast was DOA. However, after learning how to properly rehydrate the yeast, they're performing great. This yeast must be rehydrated with some care, using sterilized tap water (minerals in the water help the yeasties) at about 90 farenheit. Let them sit for maybe 1/2 hour, then add them to your wort. Prior to rehydration, the cell walls are damaged, and the sugars in your wort can easily kill the yeasties. Once rehydrated, the yeast can control permeability and will do great in your wort.

Good brewing yeast
Good brewing yeast. Very active. Used it in an Amber Ale. Ok value for money.

Bubble bubble!
I used this to make a batch of a English style IPA. After pitching it at about 75f it was happy and went right to work, bubbling and yeasting Four days in and the wort is starting to clear off nicely and there's a good layer of raw marmite on the bottom of the fermenter. I'll let it go for a couple weeks but I'm sure it will do the beer thing just like I asked.Keep in mind that I'm new to brewing at home so this is by no means an "expert" review. If I'm wrong I apologize!

Great yeast!
Excellent yeast! Wish I could give it 6 stars! Finished fast, hit terminal gravity, and drops to the bottom of the fermenter with no issues. Made all sorts of ales with this strain. Considering using it as a house yeast.

A beast of a yeast
Solid fermenting English ale yeast. It does what is expected and the date was far from expirery. I used for a clone of Young's Dirty Dick's Bitter and Pete's Wicked Ale.Both have turned out fantastic.
