Q: Will a 5T fit a 40lbs toddler?

My guess is no. I ordered a size up (4t) for my 26lb girl. If she is short it could work. They shrink a full 1-2 sizes

Q: There’s no toddler size chart. What would fit a 25lb child? She’s 34” tall.

There are lots of toddler size charts online. I would check one to make sure - but my granddaughter weighs a little more but about the same height and can wear a 4T. If you want room to grow and wear it awhile I would buy that. If you want it a perfect fit for a special occasion check a toddler chart to be sure if a 3T would be better.

Q: Do they have a snap up neck opening?

I bought 6/7 in girls and there's no snaps on those. Looking close at the baby sizes it looks like those do have snaps.

Q: How do you get it on them?? No shoulder slips or snaps. How do you get their head through the hole? It isn’t stretchy!

It went over my babies head without any issues
