Effective and compact can opener
Love this opener. No sharp edges and is easy to use. It does a great job of opening a can without too much effort. Seems durable and doesn't take too much space in the drawer.

Old Approved!
For reference this story is about my elderly mother. Walked over to check on the folks (since for some reason people in their late 70s revert back to the terrible twos). Caught my mom and the can opener she clearly stole off the table from The Last Supper painting, along with a knife trying to open a can. Hence this purchase. This can opener is amazing! No sharp edges, easy to use, comfortable grip, and opens can seamlessly. Mom loves it and randomly opens things just to use it. So next on the list is storage containers and if anyone knows of an adult adoption agency… Love the can opener…so worth it. Great gift for kitchen dwellers!

Best can opener I've ever used
So far it has proven durable, easy to operate and hold. Great quality, not cheap plastic. It opens cans without creating a sharp edge to cut yourself on, as someone who opens a lot of cans I've cut myself a fair amount, haven't had a single cut after purchasing this can opener. It opens cans by undoing the seal, not cutting the top. Great small profile in your drawer, I think it takes up less space than traditional can openers. Do yourself a favor and try this style of can opener, I am NEVER going back to the barbaric metal disk cutters again. I also never had to clean this thing as it does not really interact with the contents of cans. So it's definitely the safer, lazier option compared to regular can openers. So happy I found this thing!

Simple, Affordable, and Works Great
This can opener works great and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It removes lids cleanly with no sharp edges, which is a big plus. The cutter is sharp and glides through cans with ease. It’s also very compact, so it fits perfectly in my storage drawer. While the grip could be slightly bigger, I personally value the small size more for easy storage.

Works great but learning curve
I definitely like this better than conventional can openers. The top of the can is sharp rather than the lid so you can put it back on. Temporarily. You shouldn’t store food in cans because it starts to taste bad as soon as air reacts with the metal and the food. I’m keeping it.

Huge improvement over the Kuhn Rikon
I got this because I was getting so frustrated with my Kuhn Rikon can opener. It was excellent for normal cans, but on larger cans (like 29oz pumpkin puree cans) it would constantly pop off and leave uncut spots. I even got a warranty replacement thinking it was just a defective one, but the replacement had the same problem. I finally got fed up when I had to pry open a pumpkin pie can with pliers. So I decided to go with this model since it seemed very similar to the America's Test Kitchen winning safety can opener that has unfortunately been discontinued. But so far this one has been great and opens both small and large cans without issue. The only downside is it can feel odd to start because it doesn't really have any indicator that it's in position. But once you start turning the handle you can feel the resistance of it cutting. I thought maybe it would be more difficult to get it in place, but it's super easy. It's just a learning curve getting used to the feel.

Comfortable and very easy to use!
This is really good can opener that smoothly cuts along the outer edge of the can. This allows for the top to be placed back on for storage, which is great! If you like to drain the fluids of a can by pressing the top inward to squeeze out some excess juice, like for tuna, then you might not like this quite as much. I really like that there's a guide bar on the top to help you position perfectly, and the turning of the opener is really easy on the hands. Due to this, it's really comfortable to use, even for weaker or smaller hands. It grips the can solidly, and it's even sometimes a little hard to get the removed lid off of the opener. I think this can opener should last for a long time and be durable because it doesn't touch the liquids in a can like the other types do, so this is a great value for the money. I definitely recommend getting this!

Safer, easy. Recommend.
Removed top with no sharp edges. No worries in trash. Easy horizontal attach and turn. Easy release. No sections left uncut- whole lid lifts right off.

I'm amazed I didnt know about this type of seam-cutting can opener. It's much safer, super easy to use and leaves zero sharp edges. It makes taking the stuff out of the can easier since no lip is left. And being able to use the top as a lid is a bonus. Also the blade never touches the food in the can and no metal can fall inside or contaminate the contents. The can also is now super easy to clean and rinse for recycle. I now use this to open even pull top cans, for all the above reasons. The only drawback I've even encountered is in one type of can with an odd shaped profile, I needed to cut the bottom end rather than the top, but that's hardly an issue. I sometimes foster a cat that eats half a can of wet food everyday, and this can opener will simplify managing that half-can tremendously. I don't get why this isnt the dominant design of can opener today.

This things works well to open all sizes of cans, including gallon sized. A good deal and a quality product. I have had it for nearly a year and still working well. Easy to wash and cuts the seam of the can so no sharp edges.

Clever in the way it doesn't leave sharp edges. It's very different in its operation from all other can openers. Even if your can has a pull tab, I urge you to still use this opener instead, as you'll not leave sharp edges on the can or the lid, and you'll be able to put the lid back on the can. In short, this is better than any other opener.

Confesso que na primeira vez não acertei muito bem o encaixe, mas agora não quero outra coisa pra abrir latas. Corte limpo, uso suave, eficiente, não deixa aquelas pontas que machucam. Indico.
