You can buy cheaper but they tend to fail, or fold over, last thing you need
Hilka is a name in tools I trust. I have owned several Hilka products in the past, most I still have, and use to this day.When it comes to jacks and lifting equipment you are literally putting your life on the line by buying cheap crap that will fail, with 2T of car above you, so pay a little more for quality, and this is a quality product. It performs well, and I feel safer knowing I can reach under the vehicle to install an axle stand, or change a tyre etc.Good product good price fast delivery.Big 5* from me

Great value car jack.
Last week I had to remove the front wheels on my car to check the condition of the brake pads, and using the scissor jack that came with the car was very slow going and it didn't feel particularly safe.So I bought this trolley jack for future use as it's much easier and faster to use. It's quite a small size and pretty heavy, had a quick go jacking up the car and it worked great. Very happy with the purchase, I'm probably only going to use it a few times a year in reality, but it'll be nice to have it when needed.

Faster wheel changes
If you drive with low profile tyres then you know how easily you get punctures, you want to be able to easily swap a spare wheel and get going. This trolley jack is safe and solid and a good brand to rely on. However storing it in your car could be an issue as it's quite heavy, I have put mine in the spare wheel space in a strong reusable bag, will have work out out how to secure it so it doesn't move. Now my spare wheel sits in the boot and I need to secure that. I would say it's a bit much to carry in the car but fine at home. Too many things to think about when no spare wheel is given by manufacturers, you buy a space saver wheel then you buy this jack then you worry about where to put them. Then you take to much of your boot space...

Low lift height start
My compact tractor front axle safe jacking position is under the king pin plate. This is too low to the ground to use a 2t bottle back but this trolley jack slips under easily. Approx 100 mm also carry handle V useful
