Firstly, if you’re expecting a leather-like material, as stated, this isn’t the product for you - then again, I think at £12 the price kinda gives that away.I purchased the 80cm x 40cm pad in black to protect a new oak desk from knocks, scratches and spills.Initial impressions: it’s a bit plasticky, but the presentation and finish is good and it has a nice texture on it to give that faux leather vibe (note ‘vibe’ not ‘look’ ). It’s double sided like all the best vinyl...It fits on my 120cm x 60cm desk very nicely and has enough space for a 13” laptop, mouse and comfortable writing space.After a few weeks of use it still looks like new and is very easy to clean - a damp cloth is all that is needed.To address a few common complaints I’ve read in the reviews:- it is rolled when delivered so naturally will have some curl when unrolling, it takes nothing more than rolling in the opposite direction and a bit of hand smoothing to get it flat, it took no more than 2 minutes. This may be more of a problem for the smaller pads which will have less weight to them... but even then, I can’t really see it being a long term problem.- the pad does slip on my desk with reasonable lateral force, but then again the surface is a satin smooth, so why would that be a surprise. With the weight of a laptop and other bits and bobs it’s not going to go anywhere, unless you’re an extremely vigorous typer... or mouser... or a bit elbowy when you write.For the money I think you’d struggle to find anything that betters this (apart from other identical rebranded Chinese alternatives) and it does the job well. If it wears quickly or gets damaged, oh well, I’ll buy another. But truthfully I can see this providing a good service for many years.So, yes, I would recommend this.

I had never used one of these larger desk mats before. I ordered one for myself to protect the cloth on the table where a work every day from home, and one for my son’s desk. (Green for me to match the table cloth and dark grey for my son’s desk.) I was really surprised at the fantastic quality of the mats; they are really well-made. We’ve both been using them since Christmas and they still look as good as new. It somehow makes my desk seem more organised and the mouse glides over it like a dream. (We leave our mats in place on the desk as they look very attractive, but they come with a very neat little strap in matching material so that you can roll it up and take it with you or pack it away.) I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to buy again and highly recommend. Couldn’t be better.

It's a plastic desk mat. Don't know why people keep insisting on calling this stuff leather - it's not. It looks good. It does the job well, and it's reasonable value for money. I don't know why people complain about it. It sits flat. It provides a good surface for a mouse and for writing on - with one of those vintage pen things.

I saw these desk mats being used online and thought they looked like a great idea to make the workspace look more presentable. Having shopped around I felt this product offered good value for money when looking at the reviewed. I opted for the 800x400mm which is used on a 900x520mm desk, the desks on the smaller size but hopefully only temporary. I’m really pleased with the way the desk mat sits across the desk and looks great in my opinion.I’ve been using with a wireless mouse and not had any issues with the rollability on this surface, I’ve used two different mice and not had any issues so would say it’s compatible with a wide range of mice and you won’t run into problems.This desk mat looks great, sure if you really pick at it you can feel it’s not as plush as more expensive brands but in the 4 months I’ve been using it the functionality has been great. It rolled out flat without any kinks and I feel adds a great finishing touch to the set up.

Great mat, fits my whole desk. Mouse moves perfectly. Also keep my keyboard in one place. Looks asymmetrical. Very lightweight. Very easy to clean also. I have spilt many teas over it and not once has it stained.

This is so nice. It's soft but supple. Fits the length of my desk and the colour is perfect(I ordered the green) it even came with a strap to keep it rolled up. It's very smooth and well made. It was well worth the money and it was quite reasonable really.

Good size, Great looks and great quality. Turnt flat Really quickly which is good, and Dark blue and yellow is super nice

The quality of the item is good, I will say that. I was disappointed it wasn't non stick though. On a wooden desk I would find it moves all over the place when trying to work.
