Good pump
Very nice pump for the price. Quiet and runs irrigation system most adequately. Quick installation. Be sure to switch,in junction box, the 120-240 switch to 120 if you plan to plug into house receptacle. Switch is loose wired and tucked in upside down.

Where is customer service
I bought this 3/4 pump last November to be used as a booster pump between your water cisterns and a new pressure tank on an of grid cabin with solar power. Due to snow I wasn’t able to install it until recently. The first problem I found was that in the instructions it said it was a 20/40 switch, but then on a different page it said it was a 30/50. On the pump itself it says it is 30/50, but when I took the cover off of the pressure switch it is labeled a20/40. I set my pressure tank at 28 lbs and it ran great, but only got to 32 lbs and just kept running. So I reset at 18 lbs and it ran up to 25 lbs and kept running. If won’t build pressure or shut off! I have checked for loose fitting and re tightened everything, but no luck. I wanted to contact customer service, but the boogie.com says it no longer exists. So basically I now am stuck with a very nice looking, heavy pump that I can’t use. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. I’m disappointed with Amazon for pushing this product and saying what a great company Bomgie is.

Decent pump
Sorry for giving four stars, but it could’ve been a better pump. Although I’m happy with the price I paid on the pump so I guess I should’ve been nicer on the stars. But was not completely happy with the pressure that I could get out of it. It could’ve been better.

Works
I have a 2-inch well using the packer system, a system that has only one pipe going down the center of the well, and uses the space between the well's casing and the center pipe for one of the two required connections to the pump. It is for lawn irrigation, and there is no pressure tank. I don't know why, but this packer system used to be popular, but not anymore. A new deep well jet assembly now costs more than this pump costs (and the pump is still needed of course). I can't just switch over to this pump's ejector because it requires a 4-inch well casing, and mine is only 2 inches. Years ago, I bought a relatively inexpensive pump with the packer style well jet assembly at a big box hardware store, but over the years the pump's seal started leaking badly. The leak reduced the pump's performance to the point it was unusable. I took a gamble and installed this pump, leaving the well alone. I didn't use the ejector included with this pump. Thankfully it is working well. The original pump did a little better in a section of sprinklers where the flow demand is high, but this pump works just as well if not better in other sections. This pump is very quiet - much quieter than the original. I had trouble with the power connections. The terminal screws were very tight, and I could not remove one of them. Because of that, I kept the power cord included with the pump, cutting off the plug and splicing it to my 220-volt wiring.

Cost efficient yet robust
I purchased this pump to replace my current cracked shallow water pump for irrigation. The installation is straightforward if you are a bit handy. I was able to replace it by myself. I have 9 zones irrigation covering about 0.8 acre land. BOMGIE pump with 1 HP power was sufficient to feed all 9 zones. It's been more than 7 months the pump is working great without any issue. It is chaper than other models. For the winter season, I unplugged it and placed it inside to prevent freezing.
