Overall easy to use and does the job
Sturdy, but the rope could be stronger, but it does the job I needed to do

helpful but needs a way to lock
I used it to process 4 goats. Based on lifting the goats before and after using the gambrel and pully, I would say the pully helps with half the weight. The pully would be better if it locked instead of having to tie the rope off somewhere.

Looked like it would work great
Iām a one legged amputee. I wanted to use this to haul things up into me attic. But had a little accident one time and now forbidden to go into attic. So I never got to install it
