I was building a magnetic nail finder for my garage. I just bought an $11 cutting board (12 x 18 x .75), four 1-inch fixed mini caster wheels, and a stainless steel, adjustable flag holder to attach an old broom handle. The final ingredient was the purchase of 24 of these 100LBS neodymium disc magnets. Once attached, the magnets were about 1 inch from the ground it was searching over. For experiment 1, I attached a row of six, double stacked discs to my board and had no issues picking up some very small and light materials. Then I did a row of 6 with just one disc. Still, no issue with capturing screws. With that said, there is a noticeable bump in magnetic strength when these discs are stacked. (A word of warning, I had the torque set to my drill's lowest setting and still cracked a couple of these discs during installation. The did not crumble and all of them are still serviceable for my nail finding purpose. Just be careful). For this project, I absolutely could have gotten by with 12 instead of the 24 magnets I ordered. Since I had enough to do two magnetic rows, I did.

Nice, strong magnets. They are exactly what I wanted for a wooden access panel. The magnets are holding well. I chose these because of their included screws. The recessed hole allows the screw to be flush with the surface.

What a difference these very strong magnets make in projects that need a powerful grip. The added screw option was another plus. I love these and the very fair price for the performance.

I purchased these for a project that I ended up not needing them for. I decided to experiment with the magnets and see how they were. They aren't very large, maybe a couple inches in diameter and a quarter inch thick. There is no adhesion on the magnets anywhere and are mounted with screws that it came with. The screws are decent quality and were easy to hand screw into wood. These are strong, so strong in fact that I accidentally got 2 stuck together that I have been unable to break apart. However, I don't think they are as strong as advertised. They claim 150lb + strength, but when holding my 10lb hammer the strength wasn't noticeable. I don't have a technical background with magnets but just something I noticed. I also would be cautious if you do use these with any tools that they are susceptible to vibrations. I like the product but would be cautious using it especially with heavier objects.

I purchased the 100 pound size and found the screw to object design works well. Under a craft table I can place often used items such as scissor so they are off the work surface but still nearby. I will used these in my garden shed to hang my hand pruners so they are quickly accessible. The 100 lb strength offers the power to hold capacity to hold pliers, metal tape measure, shears, a hammer or other hand tool. I recommend the 100 lb size they are about 1-1/4" across and the magnet is quite strong. I use magnets often and these being a screw on allows them to be attached to many objects. I will be buying more.

I bought these magnets so I could put one on the end of a broomstick to pull a steel nut on a string through a tight space, then pull a wire through the holes. I have not done that yet, but when I do the magnet will certainly be strong enough. These things are very strong for there size. A word or caution though. They show them stacked together, don't do that. They are very hard to get apart. I ended up using a pair of rubber jar openers to slide them apart. I only needed one magnet for the job, so I may screw the others to a wall in the garage closet to hold scissors and tools I frequently use. If you need a small strong magnet buy these, no buyers remorse here.

I had my doubts when I bought them. 150lb. pull on a 1.5” magnet. I was wrong. I put one on my table saw top. I had to hammer it sideways to get it to the edge of the surface in order to get it off. Also, great to have a protective medal shield around the magnet, as rare earth magnets are brittle.

Very Strong magnets, and appear to be quite sturdy with the outer shell, I did drop one on the garage floor and it held up fine, as anyone who has used magnets in the past know quite well if they are not usually forgiving on drop test...

Great song magnets. Used to secure rock lights to my steel fenders on a classic truck, worked great. Used 2 per light and they do not come off easily. Have yet to loose one from a pothole or driving around.

Strong grip and size also comes with screws and cover.
