A really nice display case
I came across this display case and read the reviews good and bad. The one I received was good the drawer opens and closes fine and is great for putting odds and ends inside it like straps necklaces etc. It is just big enough to put my Ray-Ban wayfarers in which was a surprise bonus. The finish on the wood is a bit rough but for the price what would you expect, its nothing a quick rub with some sandpaper would not sort and allow you to use a nice stain. All in all a great buy and I would recommed

Feel confident
So many other watch boxes seemed to have been subjected to damage but mine came unscathed due to the fact it was very well protected by the packaging - I was well impressed. It is not a box that has superfine finish but it is really serviceable and quite nice to look at. You can feel confident, should you buy this, that you are getting good value for money.

Quality control by Stevie Wonder
As so many others have said, this is a really nice looking little box. It’s the perfect size and is made from real wood with a glass top. It’s great for my watches as I have a couple that are solar powered so need to be exposed to light. BUT the finishing on the drawer it truly awful. The right hand side of my drawer sticks out by about 3mm. Why they couldn’t just cut it flush with the box edge I don’t know. I’m debating whether to send it back to try and fix it myself. Other than that it’s a great value little watch box.

Perfect jewellery box, exactly what I was looking for. Despite the negative reviews I purchased and so glad I did, can’t fault it

Always a project at this price
Firstly it’s cheap so expect manufacturing defects , reading the reviews I knew it’s was going to be a full rip out .With some work you certainly can make improvements to this watch box , with sanding , wood dye , new fabric lining, cushions and fixings you end up with a bargain watch box to the finish you want . The hinges stayed but drilled hole out to take 3.5mm x 20 long screws for a more secure fixing . The drawer pull I made from stainless and Damascus steel to add to the rustic look.I would alway say buy this with the intention of doing improvements and you will be happy .
