Menicon Progent Biweekly Contact Lens Cleaner - Removes Protein (7 Treatments)

This is THE cleaner period. I’ve been wearing RGP lenses for over 12 years now so I’ve had my ups and downs. I’m not even close to the best person to keep them clean. Of course I used water to rinse them. Hence why I’m here a few months back I noticed white film build on both of lenses both sides. I tired the red cap clear plus (the one that bubbles) I noticed a slight difference and I just thought it was time to get new lenses. I read the reviews on here and I was yeah ok, for this price it probably isn’t going work that well and I’ll need a machine. Ladies and Gentlemen I was wrong! One treatment, 30 minutes and my lenses look and feel like I just left my doctors office with a new pair. I know in two weeks I might feel like I have two new eyes. I followed the instructions. It says 30 minutes. USE 30 minutes! I then rinses them with Bausch and Lomb saline solution and stored them with the Bausch and Lomb advanced cleaner and conditioner solution over night. I then woke up and rinsed them again with the saline solution. I can see clearly now (yes I sung the song). Please don’t go with cheap products use what the doctor recommends and from real patients like me. Or have fun spending $1100 for a new pair of contacts. My only recommendation is if your lenses don’t fit side by side turn the white lenses holder (plastic piece inside the green tip) to the middle. Once I did that my contact fit in the case. The pictures are before pictures and one to show that holders move. I don’t want to take my contacts out right now so show you an after picture. It’ works that well!

I cannot be without this. It cleans the lenses and makes them feel brand new. There is no irritation.

Incredible product! It removed ALL the protein buildup on my gas permeables that I’ve been struggling to remove for a while! No other product or method I’ve tried worked- like not even a little bit. I thought I was going to have to give in and buy a new pair of lenses, which if you have gas perms, you know they’re not cheap. This product is easy to use if you follow the simple instructions. Totally worth every penny. In 30 minutes, you will have brand new contacts you can see out of again! Amazing. Highly recommend! I cannot believe I went so long not knowing about this stuff.

I have had RGP lenses my whole life. I used to use Boston Advanced Cleaning Formula with the red cap as well as two other solutions occasionally. Nothing works as well as this system. It only takes 30 minutes every two weeks. It is relatively expensive compared to the Boston formula but I haven’t had to stop my car and try to pop a lens out because it feels like I have grains of sand underneath the lens anymore. This process cleans to a level I didn’t think was possible. I’ll now, never use anything else.

I've been using the Menicon Progent Biweekly Contact Lens Cleaner for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it works. I wear RGP (rigid gas permeable) lenses, and over time they tend to get cloudy from protein buildup. After using this cleaner, the lenses are noticeably clearer and feel much more comfortable in my eyes. It’s a powerful solution that removes deposits better than anything I’ve used before, and the difference in clarity is immediate. You do have to be regular on the cleaning to keep them clean. It takes 30 min only. My eye doctor is currently on maternity leave, so I’m trying to make these lenses last as long as possible until she returns. This cleaner has been a lifesaver during this in-between period. It gives me confidence that my lenses are staying in top condition, even with extended use. I highly recommend Menicon Progent to anyone with RGP lenses who needs a reliable deep-cleaning option.

Had it for a few times and it works great for my kids’ orthoK! Much less red eyes when they woke up.

Not a lot of products out there for wearers of gas permeable lenses. I have always struggled with protein build up on my lenses. My contacts are so much cleaner and it removes stubborn protein deposits. I use this once a week.

I don't normally write reviews, but I did not find any that had very convincing pictures. Despite that, I decided to take the chance. Here are two sets of pictures, the set where they are in the holder shows before and after they were soaked in the solution for 30 minutes. The picture where I am holding them is before I soaked them and the other is after I used the red top Boston cleaner on my scleral lenses to finish polishing them. I was not able to get the mineral deposits off any other way and this did it in just 30 minutes. The two small spots you can see on the after picture where I am holding them is where the contact holder was touching my contact and did not let the solution get in contact. I will turn them 90° in there next time I soak them so those spots will get clean as well. I was able to get my squirrel lenses to fit by turning the cups 90°, but do not seat them all the way in or the tops will not be covered by the solutions since they are not made for that big of contacts.
