RichaRain Warrior Motorcycle Rain Trousers Overtrousers

This is my 2nd pair, as someone stole my 1st set. They where 7 years old and still kept out the rain, really top notch. At an amazing price, buy them !!!

I got the XXL as I needed over trousers which had a comfortable waist size.After putting some weight on I am currently a 38" waist and these trousers comfortably fit over normal trousers.The waist band is elasticated and has a draw string.Having the larger waist size means the leg length is too long but each lower leg has 2 velcro fastenings to pull in the leg which stops it falling down over your boots/footwear.I already have the XXL Richa Rain Warrior jacket which is 100% waterproof but can lead to some sweat dampness depending on what you are wearing underneath.These trousers will I am sure also be totally waterproof.

They keep you dry, that's the main thing. Unfortunately the velcro fastening was poorly stitched and started to come loose after a single use.

It was a perfect timing to get those ones(autumn is here).I read about water getting through the seam, well if the water gets through the seam, I will add beeswax, problem solved.Now I did try them already on a rainy day any issue at all.I've got a medium size(M); as I'm 5.4 height, the trousers get a little bit higher that my bellybutton, for me that's perfect. Covers everything.

These are just as expected.In total fairness I have not worn them in a downpour but the bit of rain they have been worn in did not penetrate at all.I did buy a XXL which thankfully not my normal size. I did this obviously to be able to easily slide over my leathers etc quickly if I'm caught in a downpour.Despite ordering very large, they are perfect. Very big at the top and come quite high but this also makes sure that there is a good overlapping of my jacket over my trousers. (Very big at the top because I ordered larger than normal size for me)So I would recommend these waterproofs.Since my initial review I have worn these trousers (and matching jacket) many times in torrential rain/ downpours. Not one drop of wetness has gotten through. I would even more strongly now recommend these and I personally will buy these next time too. I think I have fallen lucky finding these first time around as I have read many threads on bike forums where many bikers have bought far more expensive and far less able waterproofs. (Despite 100% waterproof claims).In brief if you want outstanding waterproofs for a (in my opinion) very reasonable price then these are a must.

Having only used these a few times for short local trips, they did well. No leaks. However, yesterday I did a 3 hour ride in heavy rain. They lasted about 30 mins before they gave up. The ankle adjustment is nowhere near tight enough to seal around your boot, leaving plenty of room for the rain to get in at speed, meaning that my otherwise waterproof boot slowly filled up like a wellington boot. The taped seam at the crotch gave in at around the same time. Bearing in mind I am riding a naked, so the trousers are properly exposed to the elements. The knee area stayed dry throughout. If you are driving for short periods of time at lower speeds, they are ideal. For longer rides in heavy rain, look elsewhere.

These are well made waterproof over trousers and do as they should, ie: keep both rain and wind on the outside. Easy to put on/take off without removing boots and pack down into a small bag for ease of transport. The only issue I had was with the sizing, I ordered the same size as my textiles and they were way too tight, returned and changed for a size up and they're just about ok now. If you normally wear leathers or kevlar jeans the same size might do but otherwise (for me) the next size up might be a better bet.
