Q: how big are the pellets?

The pellets are about pea size, maybe slightly larger

Q: Is this supposed to be sealed? The jar was open. Did i even get the right product? How do i know it wasnt opened, and cheap stuff poured in?

Good point - as it appears it may be an order of many jars and a 500lb bag in a guarage as a processing aystem? Ha Ha🤪

Correct no seal... if it did - it would show a sticky leftover. Non noted.

Q: can a frontosa eat this
