Economy Kitchen Accessory Wooden Clothespins 50 Count

Perfect quality, perfect price, fast delivery. They're easy to clip (spring not too tight) & the spring, etc doesn't slip sideways and make the wooden pieces fall apart like some flimsy clothespins will do. (I use them for clipping bags of chips, etc closed also.... In fact I keep finding new uses for these handy little buggers.) Exactly what you have in mind when looking for good quality, reasonably priced clothespins! Some things are just that simple.

The quality of the clothespins were great, better than I have gotten at Walmart and other stores

After reading so many reviews of other clothespins, I came to the conclusion that it is impossible to buy good, old fashioned, well-made clothespins on Amazon.com so I opted for a low price, instead. These will work for my purpose of holding together edges of bird netting on fruit trees, but I doubt that anyone using them to regularly hang clothes would be very happy with them. After re-reading the description before writing this review, I noticed the seller states in one area that the springs are heavy duty and in another area that they are good for elderly people because they are easy to open. Of course, they are, the springs are very flimsy and don't stay in place. They are not heavy duty. Also, they are 2-7/8 inches long not 3 inches, so you are getting the "short" style, not the longer, traditional style. It is truly sad that 150 yrs after they were invented, you can't buy good, traditional clothespins. If anyone found some on Amazon, please let me know which ones they were. I would still like to buy some for other purposes.

I'm using these for my kindergarten class. They are the perfect size.
