Great quality Dutch Oven
I purchased the 3 quart Aidea dutch oven in white. It's beautiful. At this low price I was surprised at the substantial weight and fine quality. Looks and works every bit as good as my Le Creuset. The finish is excellent. The lid fits securely. The pot performs really well. I bought the 3 quart size to bake no-knead bread using Jim Lahey's recipe. Either a 2 1/2 cup or 3 cup flour recipe fits just fine. No need for a bigger one. The pot measures 8 inches across, and 4 inches high, but with the domed lid you get about 4 1/2 inches in the center. The lid's knob is stainless steel and is oven proof at high temperatures. Really a great little dutch oven. Of course, it could be used for many other things beside baking rustic Italian bread. In any case, a tremendous value for the money.

Excellent pot for baking bread and making soup
This pot offers great value for the money. I wanted a cast iron dutch oven to bake bread and got this instead of the Staub or Le Creuset which is much more expensive. I am glad I took the chance with this pot. The breads came out perfectly. I have also made stews and soups. Very easy to clean and the navy color is really pretty. My only very slight negative comment, which another reviewer also pointed out, is that the bottom of the pot is smooth so one has to be careful with it not sliding around too much on the stove. I have a gas stove so sliding has not been that much of a problem.

Well made and a good value
I was in need of a dutch oven for my vacation home but I didn't want to spend a small fortune for a le creuset. I found this one on amazon and considering the low price I figured it was worth the risk. I have now used this oven three times since I purchased it and I couldn't be happier. It appears to be very durable and of high quality. It cleans easily but like with the le creuset dutch ovens you need to baby them, which means hand washing and no harsh detergents or metal scouring pads. Stains from marinara come out easily with a little bit of bleach in your dishwater. If you follow the care instructions this should last you a life time. Buy it, it's worth it!

Gorgeous Green Cast Iron Pot
My daughter had mentioned that she did not have a cast iron pot. As a huge fan of these pots, and one who loves beautiful objects, I decided to buy her one. I ordered this brand based on the reviews. I also liked the 5.5 quart size. Not too big and not too small. Perfect for a couple. The color was an added bonus. What a beautiful shade of green. You rarely see this color in cast iron and all I can say is we should. It adds a little pizzazz to your kitchen. Fortunately, the quality is good too.

Affordable & well made
Wish I had bought one of these years ago; I would definetly recommend having one in a starter kitchen set. It is very versatile: we bake bread in it, fry in it, boil in it. We use it on stove top and inside oven. So many wonderful recipes for all tastes that are complimented by using a Dutch Oven. It does require attention when cleaning. The enamel portion cleans well and I just hand dry it and lightly oil the iron exposed sections to extend the life and protect from rusting. On top of that it is attractive enough to keep above counter.

Very nice
This dutch oven is very heavy, which I would imagine they all are, so I was somewhat concerned about lifting it. But I bought it make artisan bread in. I find it very nice for the price. Don't have any experience at all with other pots but one thing I liked was the knob is oven safe, so I didn't have to buy another part. I find it to be quite attractive and very nicely made.

Perfect for bread making
I had a cast iron oven that was too large for bread making. This is the perfect size and is the most beautiful color. It sits out on a shelf and looks wonderful. I don't know how easy it is to clean because the bread goes in wrapped in parchment paper. The temperature is even and the bread comes out with crunchy crust.

Glad I bought this
I hemmed and hawed about an enamel Dutch oven for ages. Kept looking at le creuset. Also looked at lodge. After reading all the reviews, I’m glad I didn’t shell out that kind of money. I suppose if I used a Dutch oven constantly a splurge would be fine, but I am thrilled with this. First off. Very pretty. Nice color. I got orange. Good heft (which also is why I won’t Use it all the time). Enamel is smooth with no flaws. Lid fits beautifully snug. Good purchase.

Great for sour dough bread and banana bread!!
I bought this to make sour dough bread as it’s the perfect size dutch oven. However I use it for all kinds of things now including things like banana bread loaf. (I put baking parchment paper on the bottom). I used to always make my banana loaf in that regular loaf shape and it would either be dried out on the ends and cooked in the middle or else it was raw in the middle and cooked just right on the ends. This Dutch oven cooks it perfectly and the shape is prettier. I will never use the other loaf pans again. This is also a beautiful colour and well made!

Perfect for bread making just like item states in its description.
As with all Dutch ovens, they are hot and heavy! During use, wear oven gloves when handling the pot and its cover! After receiving this 3qt Dutch oven, I proceeded to make cheddar bread, but had to wait til the next day while waiting for the dough to rise. Then after the second rise the next day, I finally got to use it and the end result is the loaf in the pictures I shared.

Heavy Beauty of a Dutch Oven
I opened the box, wow, the green color is beautiful! I have not used a dutch oven before, but Jenny Can Bake series makes bread in hers. The first thing I made that day was a simple stew. We let is simmer for a good two hours. Amazing flavours. When we were done "licking the pot", it was that good! I put it in the sink and was a bit concerned about the beef gravy residue on the sides. Not to worry, came off with a simple kitchen sponge after a little soaking! I would buy this again for my family for Xmas, just really versatile! Love it...

Love it!
This Dutch Oven is perfect for cooking sourdough bread, perfect results. I chose the smaller size because I wanted this pot specifically for cooking artisan breads.
