Nice quality boot
This is a well made boot, comfortable and fits perfectly. I wear a size 12 and the large is perfect. I can finally walk again. Highly recommend.

Good enough
We are surprised at how well this boot held up.Price was decent, compared to what our deductible was! I bought the same size as in the drs office, and this one is a tad smaller but it’s for my daughter’s foot and she’s in between sizes so definitely not the boots fault. Maybe buy one size up from what the Dr sizes. And the additional padding was a nice surprise. And it provides additional protection on the top of the foot and alleviates the pressure from the straps on her broken toe. I would recommend this boot if you are unable to get the medical grade boot (deductibles are outrageously high) It definitely is doing its job! And my daughter actually wears it and says it’s comfortable for the most part. It also comesWith the pump for air the Dr recommends to keep blood flowing properly. It is easy for my 9year old to pump it comfortably and has an easy push “button” to release the air pressure when necessary.

Not what i expected
Honestly I have nothing to compare this to, so maybe I just had too high of expectations. It seemed like in the picture that it would be light and easy to walk with. It’s ok, it does the job but I definitely feel like I’m clonking around. The boot sole makes one leg taller so I had to get my tennis shoes out that have a thicker sole to walk around more level. My scale says the boot is a little over 2 lbs.Pros: the boot does have nice traction on the bottom. It does Velcro in well. The extra cushion it comes with was a necessity and came in handy to pad where the straps would rub against my leg. Air pump thingy works well. I bought it bc the side of my foot (on my pinky toe side - 5th metatarsal) started hurting and I needed something that would support my foot and take the strain off. This did the job. Shipping was quick and accurate!

A great stabilizer!
I rolled my ankle pretty badly & knew I'd need a boot right away to compress the injury. Thank goodness I found this on Amazon & was able to get overnight shipping. Not only was the shipping super fast, but the quality of this boot is amazing! The boot is very comfortable & has air compression to further aid with healing. I highly recommend this boot & will say that the style, quality, price & way it's getting me healed up are major selling points.

Loud and loose
I tried this boot because I thought it would sweat less. What I found was that the velcro kept making noise when I walked. My toes went past the padding, and the end of the padding rubbed underneath my toes. (It did buy the correct size--medium for a 10 women's shoe.) Also, my foot easily wiggled inside the boot, even with inflating it, so there was no support. Also, the boot wasn't much lower of a profile than the borrowed boot I was using already. As another reviewer stated, it looked like the velcro that was glued onto the boot padding would easily come off after a few uses. I returned the item after quickly trying it on in my home.

Perfect!!!
I was going to get the United Ortho brand but didn’t because they posted 2 different sizing charts so I felt uncomfortable guessing which size to go with. I chose this brand because of the certainty of fit and I also liked the fact that the air pump seemed more durable and the release valve was built in so no risk of losing a vital component. I’m 5’10” and 196 pounds. I wear a size 9 1/2 boot so I went with the Medium as per the chart. Fit is perfect. I have about 1/2 inch between the tip of my tows and the tip of the boot. I would say I have a medium to narrow foot but this boot has plenty of width to accommodate a wide foot. I have Achilles tendinitis and after struggling for a week with various wrap and lace type ankle braces, I decided to buy this and noticed great improvement after the first day. It’s also much easier and quicker to put on and take off because you aren’t having to struggle through shoe laces and weird straps to wrap your foot a certain way. You set your foot in and you know exactly what straps go where. The air bladder seems to hold the air all day for me. I can’t say for sure because I’ll wear it pumped up while walking but when I sit down in my office I like to deflate the boot and air it up again when I have to walk again. The curved soul definitely helps walking, or in my case, limping much easier. The boot feels a little heavy at first but I got use to it in about an hour. This was to be expected given the heavy duty support it offers. I highly, highly recommend this product. If you are suffering from Achilles tendinitis, don’t even waist your money on the other crap out there. If you don’t get this exact boot, at least get a full boot brace like this. It’s worth every penny. One other thing to mention. I’ve been using this boot with crutches for what it’s worth. I occasionally walk with this boot without crutches but that’s just when I’m cooking in the kitchen or walking short distances like around my car or across my living room or something.

Please, no laundromat smell + not durable
Very hard to get the toxic laundry soap smell out -- makes me feel so yucky. Now on my 4th in 2.5 months. Before: I bought this as a replacement so I could have one to wear while i washed the one the doctor gave me. That boot and this one both have velcro attachments that are either curling up or coming detached. The boots don't seem to be able to handle hot feet. It can be really hard to get the liner to separate from the frame in order to take it off. I have been lucky to be able to change socks and boot a couple of times a day, but they are still wearing out very quickly. There was one time on the original when i missed a step detaching the inner part from the outer and stumbled around bumping into things and worsening this pain and another injury i have. I've got a bone that's broken into 3 parts, and a piece of bone spur that came off, tendinosis and I forget what the other thing is...

Having support.
It works very well for my support of my foot. The only thing I was having trouble with was lacing up the tie strings. I’m getting better at it the more I use it.
