I was so excited to try these out for my daughter’s watermelon themed birthday party! They are both sweet and tart and were super tasty. We had the perfect amount needed for the watermelon candy bar we created! Would buy again!

I first found this product in Florida while on vacation. Once home I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. They are the favorite candy in our house now, ordering three at a time makes it easy to have them always on hand.

If you like an old-fashioned hard candy with a slightly contemporary twist, try the Watermelon flavor. The large lozenges feel old school when you pop them in your mouth, but somehow watermelon as a flavor doesn’t have the same old-timey feeling as horehound, peppermint, or lemon drop. Maybe it’s because watermelon candy doesn’t taste anything like watermelon fruit, so I assume the flavor is created in the laboratory. Maybe it’s just me! At any rate, it’s a very sweet and slightly tart fruity flavor that’s very pleasant in the summer.

These hard candies are pretty good. They are fairly large, bigger than other hard candies I’ve had. The flavor is nice. It reminds me of the watermelon flavor of a very popular store bought hard candy that gets stuck to peoples teeth. Due to the shape and size, I don’t know how you would get this stuck in your teeth, which is good because I have a habit of trying to chew hard candy. You get a good amount of quality candy for the price.
