ShedRain Vertex Compact Folding Travel Umbrella – Push-Button Open & Close, Vented Double Canopy, Protects from Rain, Sun, & Wind

I love this umbrella so much! I've owned previous umbrellas that always break easily from the wind, but the ShedRain has held up really well! I used it during a windy thunderstorm and it never flipped inside out and kept me dry! I love the compact and lightweight design and can easily store it in my bag!

I needed a compact umbrella for a trip but hesitated to buy yet another umbrella that would break after one or two uses. This one touted a special design that intrigued me and they stand behind it with a lifetime guarantee; which tells me they are confident that it will not break. It arrived super-fast and it is a sturdy, great quality umbrella. The color I bought, a wisteria-colored purple, is very nice. I did find that if you use it, then release it to come down, you can't just pop it back up without fully engaging it back into the handle first. In other words, you can't just rest it down and then raise it up again; you have to fully close it or it won't lock open. I think that may be why the reviewers that said it only worked once or twice thought it was defective. They really should make that clear, because that's what I thought at first until I figured that out. Give it a try, it's a nice umbrella. It's plenty big when in use, but not as compact or light as I had expected. Even so, I am happy with my purchase.

seems very sturdy but it is just under a pound in weight, and is also about 2" diameter when closed. It will be "more" to carry while traveling. My previous umbrella that was damaged by a gust was half the weight, I am hoping that the heavier design will do as advertised and be worth the extra weight and size. I do love the pattern and red accents of the cables for wind protection.

Lo compre en noviembre del 2023, realmente lo vine a ocupar hasta junio del 2024, y es genial, se siente muy fuerte y eficiente. Amo mi paraguas!

Es muy frágil, se descompuso muy rápido y ya no se puede cambiar porque esta fuera de garantia
