Top Of The Pops 1964-69 (Remastered)

This is a great selection of music from the 1960's. It's a great representation of the various sounds around at the time and for anyone who likes this eras music will enjoy this or it's a good introduction to the various sounds that we're around then.

Loads of old hits , good price , it arrived early , sound is really good , nice price to , if your of a certain age , a real blast from the past

Absolutely brilliant.. C.D.1& 2..but not yet played cd 3 yet.. but can imagine that being great too, having looked at what songs are on there.. likewise with pack 70&75 respectively... smasing... thank you

There are a few very glaring omissions (where is Steve Ellis and Love Affair Everlasting Love and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap Young Girl?) and with absolute turkeys in substitute (the Batchelors!! and Georgie Fame to name but 2), but this is ok. The 2nd cd has a fair amount of Tamla motown big hits as well as Percy Sledge, Edwin Starr, Otis Redding et al. Most of the hits and artists you would expect to see are there for the period, (The Animals, Small Faces, Monkeys, Traffic, The Move, Cher, Lulu, Dusty Springfield, Hermans Hermits etc) a very few you certainly don't normally see (Je Taime being one of them) a German version Georgie Fame (They could have definitely left that off!) and some other strange so called hits that were truthfully anything but. However there are a lot of tracks on 3 cds for just £5.00. There are no Beatles hits which was a bit of a surprise, likewise, no Cliff n the Shadows, no Who, no Stones. For a party it's fine and its worth buying. I wanted 1 particular track so I am happy.

Loved this CD with a number of hits from the mid to late 60s. A great mix and something for everyone that remembers this decade. I am pleased with my purchase and would buy again.

This CD came to me on time.Ther are a lot of super Oldies wich i know from the past.A verry special tour in the 60`s!Thanks a lot!

Sehr gute Musikauswahl. Trifft genau meinen Geschmack. Mehr davon wäre gut.

About 75% of the tracks here are good ones. However, of these, a number are poor recordings. For example, on several tracks the background vocals almost overshadow the lead singer. The Georgie Fame track is sung in German. I think the collection is still worth having, but only worth four stars. Beatles are conspicuously absent.
