Great Buy!
I purchased the 10" version and after the first use I think this is an excellent value. Both the blade and the handle are sturdier than expected and I feel more confident in the durability of the nicely riveted handle compared to the cheaper plastic versions that I often find on low cost kitchen tools.EDIT - I forgot to mention the sticker that others complained about; Mine had the sticker too and it was stuck on the end of the blade pretty good as others mentioned, so I just used heat to loosen it up and it was pretty easy. I used the smallest gas burner on our stove top and with it set at the lowest setting, I held just the tip of the blade over the flame with the sticker facing down towards the flame for a few seconds and checked. It took a few tries at a few seconds each before the sticker started to loosen up and I peeled it away. A few seconds later, I removed the glue residue on the blade using 'goo gone' and then after washing it thoroughly I put it to use.

The worst thing about this Spatula was...
I bought this Spatula for cutting cheese curds. The length and sturdiness, not to mention the rounded end, makes it a wonderful cheese curd cutting tool. But! When delivered, it comes with a major sticker on the end that is almost impossible to remove! I know you are all laughing at this, but I don't like to use the chemical sticker remover items on anything that I use for cooking. I used hot water, vegetable oil, vinegar and other assorted items before I finally got the last of the glue off the end of this Spatula! I know - I know! I am most likely being silly but there it is! But!!! Once free of the dreaded sticker and major glue, this Spatula is fantastic for cheese making and other things around the kitchen. The size is perfect! It is well made with a comfortable wooden handle. Easy to clean, (once the glue is gone). I would recommend hand washing because of the wooden handle (Dishwasher will ruin wooden handles).

Love the product—detest the sticky residue left from the packaging
This is a great tool for many reasons. I wasn’t sure of this brand but it seems like high quality. Because I could never figure out what the 4” measurement was for, I was leery whether it would be okay. To be clear, that 4” is the blade measurement. Packaging needs to be changed so that the label doesn’t leave a horrible sticky residue on the blade.

Just like a deli sandwich shop
This is a cool knife. It's perfect for getting mayo on burger buns (exactly what I purchased it for.) It's great with sandwiches for the same purpose.I came across this knife by accident while looking for something else. It's a cool addition to the kitchen that I really like, but never would have set out to specifically get.The look is very attractive to me. Like something a professional sandwich maker in a nice little mom & pop shop would use....... I'm thinking of a place in Burlington, Vermont on Church Street from when I was a kid. Already the good memories with this charming knife.

Made Like Top-Line Cutlery
Had one of these that was about 60-70 years old and like new. As these things sometimes go, it turned up missing (I blame extraterrestrials). Naturally, I had to replace it. The Ateco fills the bill. What is so great about this item, aside from being exactly the right size for what I use it to do, is the construction. It has a full-tang with rivets through a quality wooden handle. Unlike ones with a plastic handle, the blade will never come loose. Because dishwasher detergents deplete the natural oils in wood, handwashing is the proper way to clean it. The only con is the label is pretty hard to remove from the blade. Ateco should bottle it for DIYers who need a glue that sticks to metal.

One Big Spatula!
A quality item with super attention to detail. Please be aware that the 10" refers to the blade length and not the total overall length of the item which is about 14.5 inches - one BIG spatula!
