Ok, bought this book as I was looking for a quick read and am a fan of Mike Mentzer. This was a mistake. Although Mike preaches quick workouts, don't go for the quick guidebook. As I was reading, it sounded very 2020's, which caused me to look at the publish date (Aug 2023) and the author and thought...who is Southerland Publishing? Looks like they are a book mill for several topics. Quickly went to find an authentic copy, and found this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006B7LTIS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_d_asin_title_o02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which was co-authored by Mentzer prior to his death. Much better, more authentic, and most of all, correct. DON'T BUY THIS RIPOFF!

Loved it!
I'm not sure if Mike Mentzer actually used this routine, but I love the intense, challenging nature of it.The rest is simple and straight to the point.I wish all people who wrote fitness books were this succinct.Infinitely worth more than the $0.99 I spent on it.

Poorly narrated...don't buy audio book version
This book was poorly narrated for listening. No feeling of excitement and AI could have narrated better. I found I could listen to the same book narrated by the man himself, Mike Mentzer, on spotify. And he delivers his knowledge from the heart with meaning and confidence.

Can't listen to it and there is no way to cancel
I don't use Alexa, there are 19 Android devices and I only on 1 so have no idea where it would be going. I want to cancel it and there is no way to do that. I don't understand why you make everything so difficult when using Audible was so easy.

Total waste of money
This book takes about 20 minutes to read and probably took the author about 45 minutes to write. It has no details on anything worthwhile. There is only 1 brief workout description. I'm sure Mike Mentzer had more than 1 workout routine. The dietary advice is brief and a joke. You will learn absolutely nothing from this book.
