Excellent little extra.
The media could not be loaded. I decided to go for the white option. It fits perfectly and stands out on the black lid. It slightly lowers the tank noise. I'm happy with it.

This fit my 9 gallon Fluval fish tank well and functor great.

I love it but it could be a little stronger for fat fingers.
I wish there was a lip for the sliding part to ride on because it’s too easy to slightly push it out of the groves it slides it. Other than that it really works and has helped a lot with evaporation loss. It couldn’t hurt to add a small raised tab or something to slide it open. I end up pushing in on it trying to get my very short nailed, fat little man finger in one of the slits to open it. But it’s does what it supposed to and I end up left if the lid to mess with with something anyway. Might as well feed them while I’m at it.Now if I can find something to keep critters from jumping or crawling into the filter area. Like a clip on wall for the 9. If you can or do make those please email me. I would love to buy it based on how good this part is you do really good work.

Looks great, but not super secure
This gets the job done and looks nice while doing it, BUT it’s loose fitting and falls out easily if you bump it or open the lid enough. I purchased it to keep my cats paws out of the tank. So far so good, but I do have one crafty kitty. If she paid enough attention she would probably be able to pop it out. Fingers crossed she stays more focused on the fish itself and not the sliding door while I’m using it.

Works ish
Although it’s fits perfectly and does cover the opening in my fish tank, it could not withstand 5 minutes of my cat trying to take it off. I have given up because I keep finding it on the floor.
