Calibro Professional Scuba Diving Freediving Mask with Anti Fog Technology

Cressi has a few superb masks and a lot of mediocre ones. This is a superb one. I have used the same Cressi Superocchio for 25 years and it’s still perfect, but that’s cause I wash it with tap water almost after every use and never let it touch the sand, and thoroughly clean it at the end of the season. I thought the superocchio was still the best but this model is just as good and a little more comfortable. The internal design seems to really help preventing fogging which is a surprise. Excellent mask and probably a new Cressi classic, and I think I will finally retire my Superocchio. I bought 3 pairs of these. I am convinced- I might be wrong- that clear transparent silicone is more delicate, so would buy the black or dark opaque versions.

I bought these on the strength of other online reviews. Cressi is a well known company with a good reputation. The individual lenses and anti-fog properties appealed. This mask is recommended for Spear Fishing, but my use for snorkelling and sub-surface photography was close enough. I prepared the lenses with toothpaste on receipt and used McNETT Sea Gold prior to each use; even with the advertised anti-fog feature there is no sense in not following good practice. The upshot: I snorkelled in the Med for literally hours without any fogging whatsoever. The lens are close to your eyes and the mask is a close fit - this results in a wide, largely unobstructed view. If you have a very wide face this mask maybe too small - sadly this is something you will only discover when you try it. I cannot find any fault with this mask and I cannot wait to get back in the sea to use it again. An added bonus worthy of mention is this mask arrived in its own click shut hard case; whilst probably not robust enough for longterm professional use it is all you need for packing in luggage or lugging to the beach in a 'dive' bag.

Very light, good materials. Anti Fogging system is so-so. Used for free diving and snorkeling and found it got foggy relatively in short time. i din not use any antifogging products.

This is a super mask. Just back from 3 weeks diving in Maldives. No fogging or leaking whatsoever! Even when using the turbo dive scooters and in fierce channel currents it stayed sealed perfectly. It's smaller than my cressi big eyes masks which for me was great as it gave me a better gap from my hair at top and sides. Easy to adjust and comfortable round my head. I got the white as blue was out of stock... But I got loads of comments on how good it looked so glad I got that one. At the price I paid (£35) I have to say it was an absolute bargain and well worth the money.

Good looking mask quality made but once used it came with some minor issues I have a slim build meaning a small head size the mask straps pulled to full length was annoying not much room to adjust left, a larger head would be perfect. The fogg stop is a waste of time did nothing special tried it with out spray first within the first 30 seconds Mist was forming on the glass cleaned it tried again still the same result this is after prepping it and removing the silicome residue from the glass. I then used Doug spray and no issues from the mask the same as any other mask so maybe if your looking for a mask and this appeals to you because of the four stop be prepared to be disappointed. Once spray applied and strap was kinda sorted the mask performed well comfy and lightweight for long swims. Shame about the gimmicks.

A great new design for a face mask. Tiny air volume-great field of view. Soft and well fitting. Mirrored glass is excellent. I think the anti fog nose seal works well (although I did clean the inner glass with toothpaste before my first dive). Fish have actually come up to see themselves in the mirror! Soft and frameless nature means I needed a new way to clear the mask if flushing it while wearing in the water-or water tended to up my nose. Not a big problem.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I chose this product for the Fog Stop feature. This is a gimmick that does not work at all. They fogged up more than other masks in the past to the point when I had to put fog drops in them that work slightly better. You can see nicely out of them and they have very good vision when they're not fogged up. I Also found them quite flimsy around the lenses as others have pointed out. The other issue I found was the space below the nose to the bottom of the mask is very small and if not placed correctly water can get on easily. Very disappointing. I would have returned them but by the time I got to use them I'd gone past the return date.

I've always loved This brand... They have been around forever and know what they're doing. The only thing it needs is one of those Neoprene covers for the strap around the back of your head. Straps that secure the mask effectively, have a tendency to grab your hair when you slide it off... Especially when it's long. The neoprene cover solves that problem perfectly at an inexpensive price. There is also a go pro mount made for these masks to mount your camera or, if you want light and both hands free. There are also reasonably priced prescription lenses / readers available... If you like to operate a digital camera or be able to read your gauges when you're scuba diving. What a game changer if you need lenses.

I’ve used my mask countless times on dives up to 40ft deep. Fogging is inevitable for any mask so it is best to use anti fog gel. It is also easy to equalize when squeezing your nose while using this mask.

Practical, compact, fair face sealing, comfortable, it reduces fog but doesn't eliminate/kill it completely, magnification ratio is lower than normal scuba diving masks which is good for spearfishing, and quick reactions built on the eye perception.

excellent. i love this mask. i am just a recreational snorkeler and it is the best. never fogs and very comfortable. i am very happy with this purchase.

Maschera davvero ottima!! Consigliatissima. Faccio sia immersioni sub che pesca in apnea e trovo questa maschera fantastica in ogni condizione. Nonostante ho letto che per alcuni il sistema anti appannamento non funziona per me questa maschera è davvero ottima, nessun appannamento! Eseguito solamente la solita pulizia pre immersione. Comodissima e morbida. Avevo paura potesse essere piccola per il mio faccione, sono 1,90 per 105 kg, invece si adatta davvero bene, ottima aderenza.
