So perfect.
I can’t believe I waited til now to buy this mat. Any splashes and drops, this mat soaks up with no trace. It’s like it disappears. It works so good. Just roll up and store it. Done are the days of keeping cardboard around for oil changes.

Exactly as advertised
Does exactly what it should. Can’t even tell the old diesel is parked there. Easy to move, easy to place, easy to clean. Nice product!

Good For Small Leaks & Parking or Storage
Spilled some used engine oil on one (probably a quart) and it did initially stop it from soaking through and getting on my concrete. I sopped up most of it with rags but you can't get it all out of the fabric side. After about a week I moved that mat and realized the residual oil ate through the rubber layer and lightly stained my garage floor. So they work short term but not forever. They are reasonably priced though so after any big spill I'll just throw it away right after and buy another one. If you were parking over it and using it to catch a small leak from an engine, trans, diff or whatever it would probably handle that for a long time.

Universal use
Every since my dog was a puppy and to young to go outside he's been little box trained. We live in an apartment so I didn't want him to get anything outside and he was to young for vaccination. So, the answer is yes a dog can be littler box trained and outsidetrained to as he got older. As he grew bigger he started missing his mark so I got this oil spill mat to save my floor. It has worked so good for me. Even if his stream misses his box a little the mat catches it. No problems to my floor. And I can wash the mat and no urine smell.

Prevent Stains
Great product. It’s fairly thin however it is extremely absorbent. I’ve had large puddles of oil and coolant pour on this mat and after cleaning most of the mess up and removing the mat there would be no visible stains on the concrete. Exactly what I needed it for.

Large big enough
I got the large and it feels like it is enough for my oil changes.

Function is ok but impossible to clean.
I've had my mats in use for about 6 months now and I must say they've done what I purchased them to do which is keep people from slipping and cracking their heads on our garage floor when it gets wet due to the new epoxy finish we had installed. So for that purpose, they've done just fine. I've had no problem with them lifting or curling up when I turn the wheel on my car even directly on top of the mat. Part of the reason they stick so well to my floor is because it has a clean, high gloss clear finish on it. If your floor is dusty, bare concrete I'd be suprised if they stick well. My only problem with the product is it is almost impossible to clean and maintain. This type of fiber is stringy and lets go of it's tethering very easily. It traps every little tiny piece of leaf, bark, road stuff, pine needles etc in the fibers and it's very difficult to get them out. Forget the leaf blower, don't even waste your time. It'll get the really big stuff (entire leafs that have blown in) but that's it. The small debris is way too lodged in to blow out. Household vacuum does better, but be prepared to flip it over and pull spun fibers out of the brushes. Also, **DO NOT** make the same mistake I made and set your vacuum to low or bare floor setting. It literally spun the fibers up around the brushes like a cocoon or some kind of a wool sweater and I had to take my vacuum apart and spend 20 minutes cutting the fibers away with scissors and picking the fibers out of the brushes with needle nosed pliers. I was unable to get them all out and I'll probably just order a new brush cylinder. Raise your vacuum to at least medium height and keep an eye on the brushes every few minutes. I ended up with a shop vac with a floor attachment and did the best I could, but honestly that's a pain and it still leaves debris in the fibers. I will say that the mats do well with moderate amounts of winter slush and water that drip off the cars and they dry out fairly quickly. Kudos for that. In the end, I don't believe the company misrepresented the product, I just find them extremely difficult to maintain. I could care less that they weren't cut straight but if that bothers you, you should know - they're not cut straight. (that would bother me if I owned the company). I think they're a little overpriced for what they are and I would try something else before returning to this product for the reasons mentioned above.

Solid Garage Mat — Does Exactly What It Should
Picked this mat up to keep my garage floor clean, and it works way better than I expected. The material absorbs leaks fast without feeling soggy, and the waterproof backing actually stops anything from soaking through. I tested it with a small oil drip and a little bit of coolant—nothing made it to the concrete. It’s lightweight but durable, and the size (36" x 59") gives you plenty of coverage for most home garages, mowers, tools, or even under a pressure washer. The mat lays flat, doesn’t slide around, and it’s easy to clean. I just hose it down, let it dry, and it’s good to go again. If you’re protecting a floor, organizing a workstation, or you just don’t want oil stains everywhere, this is a simple fix that actually works. For the price, it’s a no-brainer. Bottom line: Great absorption, no leak-through, easy to clean, and made in the USA. Worth every penny.

Good mat with good absorption. Fits well under the oil change area. Also as an added bonus it provides a little cushioning when you’re under the car. Folds up nicely for storage. Zero issues, wo I’lld recommend.
