Holes too big for short grain sushi rice
Using this mesh you will lose a lot of the rice through the holes. The holes are not fine enough for short grain rice. Loved the price as it’s cheaper than the other mesh that’s on Amazon but honestly spend the extra money and get the mesh that actually works better. You lose too much rice to justify the savings.

Very convenient for Rick cooking
It's my second buy.Rice doesn't stick and easy to wash the rice cooker after use.Without this, rice cooker needs to be soaked in the water to get the sickly rice out.One thing I realized is I can't lift the right up. This is not strong cloth. Need to use with care.

A reliably rice net
Is pretty good and came very fast. I bought it as last minute because the one on my job broke. For the price and the high use it's worth it. I Can't complaint and I would buy it again.

Not 43 x 43 & leaks rice!
Ordered these a month ago but just opened them to replace old ones. They are not 43 x 43 more like 43 x 30. They also have way bigger holes than any we’ve used before and leak lots of grains. Disappointed.

The quality is good, and it is very convenient to use it to cook rice in restaurants.
It would be better if the gap in the middle was smaller. White rice often leaks out when washing. Overall, the price is cheap.

Hovoten rice net keeps bottom of electric rice cooker's pot clean, can use to lift out rice
The Hovoten rice net is a handy way to keep rice from sticking to the bottom of your electric cooker. The material is described as "high quality Tedron" which is 65% non and 35% cotton. It is woven into a smooth mesh that comes packaged as one big 43" x 43" piece.I have an 8 cup, 1.5 liter cooker. The bottom circle is about 7" diameter and the top about 9" diameter. I was able to cut that big piece into 4 equal squares and it works fine. They recommend that you boil the net without rice before your first use of the net for cooking rice. I put mine into a bowl of water and boiled the water in the microwave.Usable directions do NOT come with the cooker unless you can read the asian language on the packaging! The best directions are on the Amazon product page. I basically did the following steps with my stainless steel steamer and you can do something similar with a bamboo steamer as well:1. Spread the net out flat on the bottom of the cooker2. Put washed rice into the bottom, spreading rice evenly3. Add appropriate amount of water then fold corners of net over rice4. Put lid on and cook rice until done5. Open pot and pull corners of net apart and pour rice and water out ORPick up rice net by corners and remove rice from the pot using the net6. Let the pot cool and you should have very little sticky rice to clean from bottom and sides(Some rice slips through the net, so there will be some minor stickiness)I used to let the pot sit overnight to soak and then clean the next morning. Now I can clean this right after dinner is over with just a little dish soap and a few swishes from a sponge.I'm not sure how long this net will last me, but it will be awhile because I cut the big piece into four. I love how it makes using the rice cooker much less of a chore.
