I just ripped open my latest delivery to find the contents of the bag were just raw buckwheat groats. I've been buying kasha monthly for the last 10 years. I know sometimes it's a LITTLE lighter than others but this was unacceptable. This has no toasty smell, and is quite green and ivory overall (signifying basically raw buckwheat groats).Shown is the new batch (of what is SUPPOSED to be toasted kasha) in the bag, and the last batch I received from them of actual toasted kasha, in the airtight, glass canisters i keep in a low, cool, dark cupboard.Thank you for refunding me after posting my request. I just ordered a 5lb bag, hoping it's as toasty as the last 5lb bag i bought!

there must be something wrong with this batch. it doesn't cook well at all. the kasha flakes so it becomes mush. this is not what toasted buckwheat should do. Also, the directions aren't even on the bag. Luckily I know how to cook kasha but still no way to fix a bad batch.

I've been a bit non-traditional in my buckwheat habit. I add it to my oatmeal each morning, starting with cooking the buckwheat first. The smell puts a smile on my face every time (and makes my concoction much more enjoyable). This is a quality product, much cleaner than others I have tried and cleanly hulled - I had other brands where there were a number of unhulled ones that even after cooking do not yield well to the tooth...On my sixth bag now.

I bought this product to replace oatmeal in power balls for a friend who is grain free. I am very satisfied with it!! Worked out great and gave the balls a nice crunch, and a great flavor boost.

I used to buy organic kasha from local Whole Foods. But they don't carry it anymore, so after doing a little online research I decided to try Be Still Farms Organic Buckwheat Kasha. Taste and texture pleasantly surprised me. I always roast the buckwheat before cooking, but even after that most of the time kasha turns out mushy. This one not only didn't get mushy but also was really delicious.

Have no complaints at all, I have cooked it and had it with nut milk both are great.

toasted groats are both difficult to find and of varying quality. These are delicious, toasted just enough, no stones or chaff, good flavor. arrived as expected in good packaging, resealable, as show in picture

I grew up eating Wolf's brand toasted kasha while living in New York. This brand is just as good to me
