This gel has greatly improved my hair quality; it adds thickness, texture, and shine. It works really well and i like it a lot more than the Johnny B kind i bought a while back. The hold is long-lasting, but it washes out in seconds. If you’re looking for an excellent hair styling product for men, this is it. I highly recommend and i will be ordering this again for sure.

Great scent. Solid hold. Use a little or use a lot. I've been using this product for the past 10 years. Usually get it from my barber and will continue to. Try it out. It's great for most hair types and works really well with thicker or wavy/curly hair. It might be to thick for very thin hair. Cheers!!

This Gel isn't quite as strong as American Crew - Firm Hold (AC-FH). But at the same time, it isn't as crusty feeling in your hair. But even with AC-FH, you could run your hands through your hair and the crustiness would disappear. This is a step down from the hold of AC-FH. But it works well enough. If you buy this larger size, it's also very economical. If you need SUPER STRONG hold, look else where. But if you're good with a mid-level firmness/control, this is a good bet and a good value... 👍
