The granules are very fine. I am going to create a needle sharpener. Usually this type of substance probably has other ways to use. But I am going to pack these granules into a DIY needles caddy which will keep my sewing needles clean from rust and sharp.

Works great
This sand works great, just make sure the project is lined and stitching is very short as the sand is very fine and will leak out bigger stitching.
