YESWELDER E7018 1/8'' 5LB Welding Rod Low Hydrogen Carbon Steel Stick Electrodes

These are great welding rods for the price. I’ve only burned one so far with no issue and it did great and the welds were nice.

These worked just as good, if not a little better, than the other welding rod I had been using before getting these (I believe it was from harbor freight). Striking and starting welding was always a little easier with this rod and I only got it stuck a handful of times likely due to my own inexperience. I was pretty impressed with these cheapo amazon rods.The only thing I do wish this rod had was a better box. The box is super cheap flimsy plastic that is a pain to get the lid onto because of how much it warps, but the welding rod itself was quite good.

What's to say? It works.All the rods are in good condition, flux is intact and no rust. I've been using it on some cheap Chinese steel that's been sitting in the weather for a few years - it's dirty & rusted. Hit the steel with a grinding wheel, just enough to knock most the dirt off and started welding. The rod performed as it should, started easy and the welds are as good as any I've ever made.

These sticks are easy to use....holds good and looks smooth and strong.

Gotta say I'm pretty impressed with all the Yeswelder products so far. Not top of the line stuff but very good quality. A bit more spatter than the very best rods but nothing I worry about. Good enough for everyday farm use. Done a lot of welding with their machine and rods and zero complaints so far.

This 7018 rod burned well after it was put in the rod oven for a little while. It didn’t come in a sealed package so definitely had moisture in it.. unfortunately.
