I tested this at home and saw a 26 degree drop in inside temperature compared to room temp in 20 minutes. I've only used it once in my SUV for an all day drive and it seems to work pretty well at keeping things cool with low power drain (50-55 watts). Do not expect it to keep canned drinks ice cold like in a refrigerator but it does keep everything nice and cool. Fairly convenient size. It opens up to a cube size but when closed the top folds together for the zipper so it's more of a triangle shape. Would be better if the top zippered around as a single flap instead of two sides zippering together...

Used this for my 10 day road trip. It worked out great. It’s not as cold as ice would be but it does keep things cool. Was glad I had it to keep my items fresh while traveling.

Pros:*It's foldable and can fit in a suitcase, so you can use it on vacation.*It keeps things cool for a while.Cons:*It doesn't cool things down even when plugged in, it just keeps them at the same temperature as they already are. If you put bottles of water straight from the store, for example, they'll stay at room temperature.* The shape is not convenient. Since it's not a square or rectangle, you can only fit something the height of a can even if it seems higher, otherwise you can't zip it up.*It's very loud when plugged in.

not as cold as I thougth

This worked like a charm for the first leg of our road trip. Kept items perfectly chilled for 6 hours. During our trip, it functioned as expected for short trips transporting items like fresh crab and dairy items. For the return trip home, though, no matter the troubleshooting steps we tried, it would not turn on. This was a nice idea and I wish we could use it long-term, but sadly it is going back to the seller.

This item is fantastic for keeping stuff cool for long trips. It does have both a heat and a cool function, but I only used the cooling function.I would not recommend items to be stored in this bag that are temp controlled items. I.E. if small fluctuations could ruin the item.We used this for a road trip to keep cheese and drinks cool and it worked fantastic. It took about 20 minutes to get cool, but once it was cool it worked great.We used pre-chilled items.
