It's pretty loud. Think like an electric can opener running all the time. Until the bin gets full, then it shuts off. Or when it runs out of water. It makes great ice, tho. It's small, so doesn't take up lots of counter. Runs several days on a full tank of water. There are two in this house. I use ice in a big insulated cup. Probably two full 20oz. cups every day, and my son probably about the same, so 80oz. per day and there always seems to be a full bin. This ice maker does not have an insulated lid, just a clear plastic lid, so as the ice melts it drains back into the tank and is refrozen. Had this one for several months, thru the heat of summer, and it kept up nicely. Real hard water here, so I fill it with either bottle or water from the fridge door, which is filtered, and haven't had to clean it yet except for after unboxing.

I love the ice maker I am a truck driver so I needed something that would work with my truck and the limited space I have and it works great it fits nicely and doesn't take much space and gives me plenty of ice all day for two people.

I tried this as soon as I got it. Washed it out. Works great. I was skeptical at first sight of the tiny wet pellets. But as they piled up I felt better about them not falling through the slits on the bottom of the ice bucket. I falsely assumed it came with ice bags but that's not a star remover. These wetter pellets do form a single rock hard brick in the freezer. I filled up a small container with the ice & put the rest in my ice maker that no longer makes ice. Although the ice maker auger cuts up the hard ice so I can once again get ice from my door dispenser, the small Tupperware of ice is frozen solid & will need to be hammered or something. Bags would be easy to just drop on the floor to break up. Sure beats constantly filling up ice trays & waiting for them to refreeze. I love the small pellets & they dont melt fast to water down your drink. If they melted quickly that would be a star crusher. So no need. This stays a 5 star.

Nice countertop ice maker. FIRST on unpacking let it sit for a few hours to allow the refrigerant to settle from shipping. Only issue I encountered is that the "small cube setting" produces very small cubes and the "large cube" setting produces what I'd normally call small to medium cubes but that's the perfect size for me. Very easy to sue, there is storage on the outside for the ice scoop and a drainage plug for cleaning and maintenance. Can't really complain at this price.

he ice maker lasted for two months and wasn't even used daily. We emptied, cleaned and filled new each day it started screeching and is just getting worse , so It eventually would only make ice here and there..it just sits there and doesn't make any ice. paid $180 for the thing and went from ok to not ok. the return date has run out so we are likely stuck with a boat anchor .. will take a video of it screeching and post it ...dont buy this product ...not at all worth the money

I love this ice maker. Perfect for us because we never have room in our freezers

Worked great them came home cut it on and it just had a humming noise
