Perfect packaging and Terrific customer service
Item was a perfectly packaged - three full store packaged boxes which makes it a very good value. I don’t know how well they work yet but I wanted to report the great customer service of this company. A couple days after receiving the package I opened a box to put some in woolens I had just cleaned and discovered that the inner bag had been opened on one box. I wrote to the company and told them and they issued a partial refund for that box. Then my dear husband mentioned that he had opened the box the day of delivery and put them in his clothes already! So the product had been perfect from the company, and they were super responsive and helpful. Now I’m hoping we can sort them getting their refund back!

was super impressed by the amount I got in this 3pack
You get LOADS of balls, was super impressed by the amount I got in this 3pack. I have run out of places to put them. I have noticed that my clothes haven't been nibbled by moths which is fantastic; I do still have them flying around (I am using other methods to get rid of them at their source.)The only reason it isn't 5 stars is I'm not a hug fan of the smell, the lavender is sickly sweet and almost greasy smelling? Hard to explain. but does't go on to clothes much which is good, and the smell is SO much nicer than old fashioned moth balls too I must say. Also note to customers: the balls are wrapped in plastic pockets that arrive in a chain, be carfeful when separating them because I ruined a few by being over zealous and tearing them. Whoops.Very Nice BALLS.

Keeping Moths away
Using some small open top pots I have these moth balls in every drawer protecting my cloths. The moth ball smell is not noticeable and these small packets do their job well. In the wardrobe I have them hanging around four positions along the length of the rail, again all looks good. After the recommended time to change them (they turn from orange to white) it’s easy to see when they need to be changed.

Works but does not last 6 months
Noticed a few moths flying round my flat in the last couple months and when prepping for a wedding, I spotted a few suspect looking holes in my kilt. So I decided to get some moth balls before they do anymore damage. I didn't want the horrible smelling (but undeniably effective) chemical ones so went for these. Lovely lavender smell that's leaves your clothes smelling fresh but not overpowering. The balls are orange and come in little plastic sachets, in a zip lock bag, in a box. Would have liked the zip-lock bag to be the outer packaging to be more environmentally friendly but least the cardboard can be recycled. Open the zip-lock bag, tear a sachet off the strip and throw the sachet into your cupboard / drawer (the ball stays inside the sachet, not to be removed). The outer of the sachets have some sort of residue on them that feels a little "greasy" however, I wiped a bunch of them on an old white shirt and it didn't leave any stains so I figured it's fine. Yet to notice any staining on any garment.I put one in each drawer and the remaining 12 in my wardrobe (a lot of wool in there so why not, 3 boxes is a lot of moth balls that I'm not sure will keep). Spread them out, one in the pocket of each woollen garment, suit bag etc. It's been a month since I used them and I've only seen one moth since then so it seems to be effective. My girlfriend took one out her jacket pocket and left it on the table, so I've been using that as an indicator as to when to change. When the balls turn white, it's time to replace them. Been there for a week, still orange but faded. Don't think it'll last the claimed 6 months but looks like long enough to make them worth the money. Will be buying again when I run out*editBeen 3 months since I placed them in my wardrobe and they're completely white and a little crumbly. Not even close to lasting 6 months. Was worth a shot but better value elsewhere I think.

Great product to protect your woollen items - whether jackets
Great product to protect your woollen items - whether jackets, clothes, (wardrobe), or carpets and around the skirting boards to deter or protect long floor hanging curtains. I've used this tucked behind sofa cushions too - it deters all creepy crawlies - like huge house spiders as much as moths!Only downside does not last as long as it suggests - so a repeat purchase rather frequently is a little costly.

Easy to use, but read the caveats
As a moth deterrent this seems to be effective. The balls stay in their perforated protective plastic sachets and release the moth killer slowly up to about six months, but lose effect sooner if the drawer or wardrobe is well ventilated or in very frequent use, possibly in only a month. They lose colour as the effect wears off.The balls are supplied in a zip-loc re-sealable bag so you can use them in sequence, making sure to re-seal the bag each time another ball is taken out. This is an improvement on some other makes where once opened the shipping bag is useless.I can remember using Vapona insecticides five decades ago. I hope these balls are equally as effective. These work best as part of a system including regular vacuuming, short-term contact sprays, and other longer term slow-release preventatives such as hanging strips.

Effective at moth reduction, pleasant smell.
I’ve been using these in conjunction with lavender bags and they have had an immediate, positive effect. There’s been a definite reduction in the amount of moths - we have far fewer than before. I use the mothballs in drawers and wardrobes; even in my shoe boxes. Pleasant smell.
