Sturdy, Spacious, and Versatile—A Kitchen Must-Have
I ordered the GLING 64 oz. Wide-Mouth Glass Mason Jar for pantry storage and meal prep, and I’m really impressed with the quality and performance so far. The glass is thick and durable, giving it a solid, premium feel without being overly heavy. It’s large enough to hold bulk pantry staples like oats, flour, or pasta, and the wide mouth makes scooping and filling super easy—a must for anyone who uses these jars frequently for dry goods or fermentation projects. The metal airtight lid and band seal tightly, which is especially important for preserving freshness. I tested it by storing some homemade cold brew and, after several days in the fridge, it was still fresh with no leaking or metallic aftertaste. The seal held beautifully. ✅ PRO TIP: If you’re planning to use this for liquids, I’d recommend not overfilling and checking the seal after the first twist—it's snug, but making sure it's fully tightened will prevent any spills. While this is sold as a single jar, the price reflects the quality and size. A full 64 oz (2 quarts) is ideal for fermenting small batches of kombucha or storing large soup portions for meal prep. The versatility alone makes this a great value. My only minor caution: since it’s a single jar, it might not make sense for everyone unless you're buying it for a specific need. But for me, this has been the perfect addition to my zero-waste pantry setup.

Perfect answer for getting rid of the plastic
I pondered for quite some time on what to use if I got rid of the plastic containers in my home. When I got my Mason Jars, I was unsure if it would work, well it does work, and I am so glad I changed over. I wanted something see through, large enough to hold whatever I needed it for, and it needed to have a good seal, easy to clean and quality was also a must. These jars are perfect for my needs. They look nice and the value can't be beat. I can see myself using these all over my home so the functionality can't be mentioned enough. Think of it this way. Also, If you lose your lid on a plastic bowl, can you go to your favorite dept store or web site and get a new one without buying the whole thing again? Well, you can with mason jars.

Solid jar, but mouth appears "off" as other lids won't fit
This jar is an off-brand, so not a traditional mason jar. It seems to be a good quality, heavy duty jar, however, the mouth appears to be just a hair "off". I use screw-on lids with a handle and pour spout on large mason jars to store tea and other liquids in the fridge, but the screw-on lids would never fit quite right on this off-brand jar. The same lids fit perfectly on name-brand mason jars. So now I can only use this jar with its original lid. If you don't need to change out the lid, this will be fine for you. But if you want to use any other lids, I suggest going with the more expensive name-brand mason jars.

These are great to hold like your flour, sugar, salt, spaghetti Rice beans.I also take things like hamburger helper out of the boxes and put in glass jars,. I keep them on the counter and I have like 10 or more. I have different sizes. I use the big ones for potato chips, pretzels, cookies. They keep insects rats mice everything out. I will be buying more.

I love this mason jar- I use it to store oats inside my pantry. It keeps them air tight sealed for long lasting freshness! You can even use it as a large vase for flowers for a clean look.
