Better than bleach ! So many uses!
I love oxine because it’s food safe and can be used in so many ways. It’s used in the food industry to rinse food and produce of any bacteria. Is stronger than bleach but has no odor whatsoever nor any fumes. I use it to clean water in my 55 gal water tank dripper system fresh and bacteria free for my chickens.to keep drinking water safe for people and animals When camping, To disinfect fresh eggs, to mist inside the chicken coop for viruses, to clean fresh produce, to disinfect my rv water tank, as a disinfectant spray for surfaces. Has no odor at all. No fumes. Does not need to be activated. Dries down to harmless salt. Just use the appropriate & safe amount per parts of water. This Huge container will last you a very long time because you need just a little to do each job.For chickens I use 1/4 tsp per gal of drinking water. For RV tank disinfection I use 1/4 cp per 15 gals of water and let it sit for 6 to 12 hrs. Then run the water thru all the faucets until it’s empty and flush out with clean water.

How we activate for hydroponic water
The instructions are for 1000 gallons for purifying water for animals to drink, and we used this to calculate how much we needed. We needed to treat three 5 gallon kratky hydroponic lettuce systems. We reduced all the way down to 16.5 gallons, that was as close as we could get. For that we needed 1 gram of citric acid for 1/3 of an ounce of oxine. My husband looked up how many grams are In an ounce. It's about 28 grams per ounce. I just measured an ounce and eyed what I thought 1/28th of the ounce would be. My best guess is 1/8 of a tsp. For the oxine I used a baby syringe, I tared my scale with the empty syringe and then filled the syringe with oxine. After it registered one ounce I put 2/3 of the syringe back into the bottle and used the 1/3 that was left. I took a baby measuring cup for medicine ( that comes with baby Tylenol) and I put 1/8 teaspoon of citric acid in the measuring cup, then I added the 1/3 syringe of oxine to the measuring cup. It turned yellow like it's supposed to. I ended up with about a tablespoon on activated oxine, and that was divided between three 5 gallon tanks of water. I will try to update if this works for hydroponic growing. Hoping to suppress algae growth and reduce water impurities/ pythium, (root rot) and fungus, etc.

Great Stuff Best Disinfectant for your home and pets but be selective from what seller you buy this from!
I was only able to sample this product for a short time.. I took a cup of this product out and stored the rest away.. I filled a small glass dropper bottle for my chickens to drink and made a separate spray bottle with the rest for cleaning... Unfortunately one cup lasted me so long that by the time I needed to get more, my gallon was empty due to a small leak in the gallon that was sent to me, which I didn't notice until it was too late & all gone..I did love it, made cleaning simple with no scrubbing.. Make sure you check instructions if you plan to add to your flocks drinking water, this stuff is strong and concentrated.. I had to search a lot online instructions on the gallon not very clear or easy to understand..Also be careful whom you get it from and how they ship and how they deal with customers.. I bought mine from (seller Revival Animal Health) and I was unable to get a refund or replacement.. If I ever do I will update but so far nothing I lost all my money and paid a lot to ship too which was not worth it..I cant rate this because I was sent a bottle that has a small hole in it so it just leaked and leaked until there was no more! Make sure your bottle doesnt leak when you buy because I didnt notice this right away. I used a cup put it away and when I went back to use it IT WAS EMPTY!I tried to contact the seller but they ignored me and never did anything.. I lost all my money!!

Don't waste your money on White Lightning! This does the job!
Love this stuff. I've been using it to clear up White Lines Disease in my horse's front feet. I've so far been applying it just as I did with White Lightning but that stuff is expensive! This is a far more cost-effective option; especially since WLD doesn't clear up over night.Just through internet research and my farrier's recommendation, I've been activating the solution 50/50 with white vinegar (about 1/4 cup or less each) and soak a hand full of cotton balls in it inside a ziplock bag. Once the solution has been squeezed around in the bag and the cotton balls have saturated, I pack them inside my horse's hoof (frog & around the walls) and use masking tape to hold them in place. I kind of make a make-shift hoof boot with the tape. Lastly, I put on my horse's Cavallo Trek trail boots which luckily I have and double great as medicine boots. I let her feet soak overnight and wow her hooves are clean as a whistle in the morning. The gas really has a long chance to rise into the hoof and clear up the fungus. It's been working great for me so far! I'm hoping this will be my first and last ever bout with WLD.Also, I've been spraying the solution (unactivated) directly onto the surface of her stall once or twice a week when her bedding gets low enough that the floor is exposed. Not 100% sure if that does anything but it has prevented the fungus from spreading to her back hooves or who knows where else. In general, be very careful handling the solution especially while activated. It's very potent!
