My 9 year old loves these for basketball more than wearing tights as he can wear just one leg sleeve sometimes. He also loves them for school - he wears them to school on chilly mornings and then can easily take them off if it gets warmer and they magically make it home in his backpack! We bought these for our 7th grade son for his basketball games. He pulled his quads and needed the extra support during games. He likes these a lot. He’s worn Nike pros before and said these are just as good. They wash well and don’t shrink. My son is definitely “thick” and muscular compared to some of the other boys on his team, he subtracted one star ONLY because the rubber gripping that keeps it from sliding around is a little tight on him, but since he has thicker legs, I doubt it would be tight on most boys his age.
