these require a little more force and finesse to get over the thingy and through the vacuum bag hole, but so far, it's worked great. I'm on my first bag, but as someone that vacuums a lot, I like having more than three overpriced bags at a time. Also, not using any chemicals in or around the house, I like that these are not full of febreeze, which we would never use. At our local walmart, the only ones available have febreeze in them.
