That is the correct grommet mount for the tall pole LX Ergotrons.Don't mix it with the short one.

Worked great for surface mounting anywhere. I had been limiting myself for 5 years with the other mount. Glad I finally bought it

Ergotron is one of the first pioneer of monitor arms (and part of the original VESA consortium)with that, I have an old LX arm that needed a grommet mount since these don't come with LXwhere as all Chinese brand (huano, NB, and such) all come with grommet mounts as well as c-clamp, for cheaperI understand you get what you pay for but in this case, I had to pay extra for what should've been included in the first place...I'm a little grumpy because of thisotherwise it is easy to swap and install

予約商品でいつ入荷するか不安でしたが、R6.4月現時点では1週間内に届きました。壁に作り付けの木製机だったのでどうしても必要でした。別売りなのが残念ですが、間違いない商品です。2千円くらいの電動ドライバーとスターエム竹用のドリルビット9mmで3センチ厚くらいの天板に女手ですが5分ほどで穴あけしました。壁際に取り付けの際は、アームの位置などを確認されてください！

しっかりと固定されて満足ですが、机に8mmの穴を開けるのは、対応したドリルを持ってないと大変です。6mmドリルで開けた穴をヤスリで拡張して何とか設置できました。逆に、もっと穴が大きくて良いならホールソーを使う手もありましたか、できるだけ小さい穴にしたかったのでこれで満足です。机を壁づけで利用しているので、アーム支柱はメインの机でなくサイドテーブル側に固定しました。壁づけで利用しようとすると、アームの可動範囲の制約が厳しくなるので、事前の計画は重要です。
