Started reading this book and couldn't stop! Great ideas for the classroom. I have already used many of the recommended text, as well as, the samples in the back of the book.

Very accessible, and therefore, easy to implement in my classroom.This is an approved curriculum choice. The same teaching points as Calkins without the unnecessary words.

Great companion for Writing Workshop

I teach creative writing to children aged 7-17. This book has great lesson ideas and wonderful example texts. I found the appendices really helpful.
