First, I was given this product free in exchange for an honest review.As a keen cyclist, I was pleased to have the opportunity to review this Elinker Cycle Computer. Whilst I have used apps for tracking speed and distance, the drain on my iPhone battery often made these unsuitable for longer rides - an on-board computer seemed a better option.I was pleased to see that this computer comes with batteries provided. The computer looked good quality, and the display is excellent - bright with a backlight option, with large digits.The range of functions is good: speed and distance (switchable between imperial and metric), average speed and an indicator to tell you when you are pedaling at less or more than the trip average, clock, calorie burn indicator and thermometer.The computer can be quickly and easily removed from the holding clip for security: a nice feature.Setting up the computer is generally straightforward, one one has realised that the single big green adjust button has a left and a right click function. Setting time, weight, age and (rather oddly) "service interval" is easy. The instructions (see below) were less clear on calibrating the computer - the reference to wheel size of course depends on where the sensor is set. The trick is to measure the distance between the magnet (attached to the spoke) and the wheel centre in millimeters, multiply by 2 and then multiply by 3.1416 (pi). This figure is then entered on the first screen of the computer following a reset (easily achieved by removing and reinserting the battery.) Of course, if like me you did not do this first, then all your other setting need to be reentered!So, what's not to like? Well, first, as above, the instructions!With no pictures for guidance, fitting was less than straightforward. Identifying the pieces took me some time - and then working out which way up the sensor should go (still not sure I have it right, but it works!) Pictures would really assist here.There is a round magnet that clamps onto a spoke, the sensor that is cable-tied to the front fork, and the computer bracket that is cable-tied to the handlebars. A soft rubberwidget between the bars and the bracket helps keep it in position without slipping. (This is not mentioned in the instructions - I did not fit this at first, so had to remove the bracket before fitting it properly once I had worked out what it was for!) There is also a shaped smooth piece of plastic with a self-adhesive back - I still have not identified what this is for.The distance between the spoke magnet and the fork sensor is critical - a maximum clearance of 3mm. Here is another slight issue - in use, rough terrain can cause the sensor to move out of alignment, preventing the computer from sensing movement.Despite the above, I have successfully used the computer for several trips now, and it has its place on my bike. But the two issues identified - poor instructions and slippage of the sensor need addressing. Both can be rectified - I hope my pictures are a help instruction-wise, and the use of a small patch of old innertube addresses the slippage issue (although care needs taking to ensure the sensor is not disturbed during transport.) So - three stars.

A better instruction could bring be helpful, but as i had previous experience of setting up bike computer it wasn't a big deal for me.The computed has large LCD display, accurate display and speed measurement, easy to fit and read. Just fit and forget.Excellent product for the money, does what it says. Overall a beautiful simple yet effective device, which I would recommend to any cyclist out there.

it looks to be good...i will fit it to my bike soon and then will give a better review.Alas this - cycle computer is NOT worth the money... its very hard to set up; it is wildly off the mark with most of its reading....NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR TIM E IN SETTING UP!!!

Worked fine for six months then stopped working altogether, no matter how many new batteries I tried. Unless you want to buy a new one twice a year don’t buy this.

I liked this because of the large text size, I have an Apple Watch but struggle to read it whilst cycling. This is perfect.. it was easy to set up, took minutes, done a 20 mile ride and set me watch and phone to see how accurate it was and it was spot on, they were all the same, so really pleased. Could easily read the display too and is so easy to use.

L’ho comprato stimolato dalle recenzioni positive, e probabilmente possiede numerevoli funzioni; però estremamente meccaginoso da settare, con un manuale in lingua inglese e in tedesco troppo sintetico. Il sistema di aggancio alla bici personalmente mi sembra grossolano (con fascette di plastica), il magnetino si aggancia con difficoltà ai raggi della ruota della mia bici, e per poter captare il segnale deve essere posto molto vicino al trasduttore. Insomma in teoria un piccolo computer tuttofare ma in pratica poco pratico. Neanche una immagine di riferimento sul montaggio, che alla fine è sempre utile avere. Alla fine ho rimesso il mio vecchio computer con filo, che anche se datato fa ancora il suo dovere e non mi complica la vita.

Zur Befestigung des Computers am Lenker und des Magnetimpulsemptängers an der Gabel gibt es einen Kabelbinder, (2 Stück jeweils), diese lassen sich nicht stramm festziehen und lockern sich, kein Halt, unbrauchbar ! 2. Das Foto stimmt nicht, der Hintergrund ist nicht blau , sondern weiss. Zudem gibt es keine Informationen, wie hoch der Magnet am Rad angebracht werden muß (nötig zur genaueren Messung der zurückgelegten Strecke).

Il prodotto è arrivato in pochi giorni. Le istruzioni, solo in inglese, sono sommarie e senza illustrazioni. Ma principalmente ho constatato l'insensibilità del trasmettitore al magnete in dotazione (quello da inserire nel raggio...). Ho sostituito il magnete con uno in mio possesso di un vecchio ciclocomputer, ma niente anche spostando il magnetino in altri punti del trasmettitore (ma del resto non è precisato dove il magnetino si deve approssimare al trasmettitore, mancando immagini...). Ho anche sostituito la batteria con una nuova(come suggeriscono le istruzioni), ma inutile! Ho finalmente risolto utilizzando un frammento di un potente magnete per uso industriale in mio possesso (quello usato per motori brushless) e che ho incollato sul magnetino. Ora mi sembra che tutto funzioni, ma la prova finale e definitiva avverrà con un giro prolungato non appena il clima sarà più clemente....spero di non essere costretto a rispedirlo!!! Non lo consiglio per questo difetto anche se nelle altre funzioni si dimostra efficiente

Sieht zwar gut aus und hat auch eine Menge Funktionen, die man abrufen kann. Auch die Befestigung ist gut für verschiedene Lenkergrößen, aber schon nach Zwei Wochen war die Batterie leer. Liegt wohl da dran dass sich der Bildschirm nicht sofort abschaltet. Nicht schlimm die Batteriekosten muss mann allerdings bei Kauf berücksichtigen

Der Fahrrad hat viele Funktionen , aber die Bedienungsanleitung ist komplett in Englisch . Habe den Hersteller nach einer deutschen Anleitung gefragt. Habe die Bedienungsanleitung in Deutsch erhalten.Vielen Dank

Er hat ein schönes großes Bild. Leider ist die Einstellung der einzelnen Komponenten etwas mühsam, da im Prinzip nur eine Taste vorhanden. Nach längerem Auspobieren klappte es dann aber doch, daher 1 Stern Abzug.

Ich habe den computer leider ohne deutsche Bedienungsanleitung. Wäre das möglich. Die Batterie war sehr schnell leer und nun geht nix mehr trotz neuer Batterie. Sehr schade

Achat tres decevant. Notice technique de mise en route du compteur des plus minime. Police de caracteres bien trop petite a mon gout. Mais surtout, aucun schema et/ou croquis pour le parametrage. A ma connaissance et malgre de longues recherches, aucun site internet dedie a ses fonctions et sa mise en route contrairement a certains de ses concurents. A ce jour, malgre toutes les manip. possibles, aucune reussite a le parametrer donc d'aucune utilite. Je deconseille vivement l'achat de ce compteur de velo et vais privilegier une grande marque malgre un prix superieur. Attention, la taille de son ecran peut inciter a son achat Pour rappel, fiche technique de mise en route en anglais et en allemand seulement.

Das Produkt wurde schnell und gut verpackt geliefert.Der Fahrradcomputer wird sehr gut verarbeitet geliefert. Er kann sehr leicht und schnell am Fahrrad montiert werden und ist dank der eingelegten Batterien dann auch sofort einsatzbereit.Die Einstellungen lassen sich sehr einfach vornehmen bzw ändern und nach kurzer Zeit kann man ihn gut bedienen.Er erledigt seine Pflicht sehr gewissenhaft und zuverlässig.Ich kann ihn weiterempfehlen.

Das ist der ultimative Schrott. Verpackung fällt auseinander. Die deutsche Beschreibung absolut nicht verständlich und auch nicht nachvollziehbar. Kurz nach Einsatz der Batterie Komplettausfall. Sehr billige Verarbeitung und Materialien. Geht sofort zurück!
