Standard headers, no issues
Use them to create cable harnesses or allow removable parts in a circuit. To cut to the female headers to length, pull a pin with pliers and cut at that location using diagonal cutters. Trim the end with a file or knife if you want it smoother. To cut the male headers, just cut between two pins at a notch using a knife, or even break the header using your fingers.
