Missing parts
UPDATE: The company reached out to me and offered a refund and location of the hidden hardware (would be helpful if they were placed in a bag with the instructions rather than hidden). They also said they would change packaging to help with the issues. Customer service was very good. I’m giving this 4 stars because it took a long time to assemble and make the drawers line up. I had to remove the lock pieces in the back for the drawers to be able to open and close more easily, and the metal is easily scratched. It isn’t as good as my HON cabinets, but it’s more affordable. It took a long time to receive this file cabinet, and it came in parts. It came packaged with foam, but one of the parts is bent. I don’t know if this will affect assembly because the file cabinet did not come with the necessary hardware to assemble it. There’s also no contact information in the instructions or on this site, so I don’t even know who to contact to get the parts to assemble it. Now all the sides of the cabinet are strewn across my living room with no way to put it together to organize my files.

Important information - missing parts and doors won't close?? Read this
It was pretty easy to install & took over an hour, but 😳........ The seller and manufacturer needs to put better instructions or attach an explanation video to this product . I'm beyond frustrated and had to search for over 30 min to find answers!! Three main things you need to know: 1.) they hide the hardware & screwdriver inside an inconspicuous area. It's probably not missing. Took us 20 min to find it. Put it in a separate box please!!! 2.) we got the whole thing put together & the doors wouldn't close at all. There was no misalignment and it went together flawlessly. We searched forever and found out that you have to do something very specific to make it fit. Apparently there's a video on how to do this (according to the seller) but no one has posted it. After trail and error we figured it out. You have to push down hard on all 4 corners of the drawers to seed it. Once we did this then it fit well. 3.) you can't open up both drawers at the same time. There is some locking mechanism. I guess to prevent it from tipping? You have to open one at a time. Better make sure both drawers are shut well to lock.. I would have at least given this more stars if it had come with clear instructions

I'm impressed.
I don't normally write reviews but I want to share with others about this file cabinet. I had my serious doubts - and in full disclosure, it is no where near the sturdiness of Steelcase or Hon - but it is also a fraction of the price.I have been remodeling my home office (I am a bookkeeper) and had a large 42" 4 drawer Steelcase - I wanted to downsize it and gain some space. I looked at replacing it with a Hon or Steelcase because I wanted the same quality and I was SURE something you have to put together yourself and that cost so little in comparison would be a cheap piece of crap....LOL. Well, it is actually pretty nice. It will do the job I need it to do and will not fall apart. That said, the description says you can put 120# of weight on top of it. Maybe, maybe not, but I am not going to test that claim. It was relatively easy to put together, however, I have a husband that pretty much do anything along that line. I think for the average Joe (me) putting it together, it might be a bit more of a struggle. We got done and the drawers would not properly close all the way and would not stay closed....but we realized we missed the second half of one of the steps :) Which was using the key to flip the lock mechanisms. We did that, and BAM! Looks and works great.

Sturdy and well-made, easy to assemble. A really good choice for home offices!
Several years back I bought two pieces of two-drawer metal filing cabinets from that well-known office supply superstore. It was their brand of filing cabinet so I thought they'd be tolerable. I was wrong. They were complete garbage. From the second day the drawers wouldn't open right. The whole unit would flex when you opened a drawer and the drawer would pop off it's slides, which where cheap plastic. I hated them. So, when I decided to get a new cabinet for my new office I was wary of anything that wasn't commercial grade, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend commercial grade prices. I read the reviews on this unit and finally decided to risk it. I'm glad I did! This is about as good a unit as one could hope for at this price point. It's sturdy. It uses metal rails for slides. Everything operates smoothly. Assembly was easy. It took me about an hour, but I'm always careful and slow when using sheet metal screws. The designers clearly took assembly effort into account and thought through how to easily end with a solid product. It's not a commercial grade unit. The metal is much thinner (bonus, it means one person can move it when it's empty). However, the thin metal is probably the most notable difference between this and a commercial unit. Everything else is really solid and the way it goes together makes the thin metal much less of an issue. If you're looking for a nice, well-priced, filing cabinet for a home office this is a great choice!
