Great product, it would be nice if they supplied some oil with it. I’ve heard comments about them breaking, but I’ve followed the instructions and had no issues. They cut through sprue like cutting through butter and if you use them properly they leave almost nothing to sand away. Keep them in their cover at all times when not using them as even a fall on a hard floor can break them. Keep them clean by brushing away the plastic. Don’t use them to cut thick sprue or transparent parts.

I can’t say more than that, changed my whole approach to building plastic models, gone are the days of Sanding off bits of sprue or having to fill a small hole left by cheap nippers,, yes they are expensive but they are really worth it

Worth the money

Don't judge me because of my fingernails, this isn't a nail clipper review! The first few times I used these snips, I honestly thought I had thrown my money away, until I learned that how you hold them in your hand and how you position the snips against the peice was the secret. After I figured that out, they truly do live up to the name. They are very nearly silent and I wouldn't even say they "cut" the plastic, rather they slice cleanly through the nub with no distortion or pinching of the plastic. If your positioning is correct, they produce a cut so smooth and close to the piece that clean up of the area isn't necessary or, at most, very minimal. Yes, there are much cheaper brands that look very similar, but I can't say how they work, but I can say these work.

Le top des pinces coupantes single blade. La coupe se fait en douceur, sans écraser le plastique et laisse donc à peine une marque de coupe. Du coup on évite une bonne partie du travail de nettoyage de la pièce (ponçage etc). Il faut y mettre le prix, mais la rolls des pinces à maquette.

These nippers are incredibly sharp and incredibly precise. If you're doing any form of modelling that requires removal from sprues, you should invest in a set of these.
