These cylinder 0.25 dioptre and 0.5 dioptre test lenses fulfilled their purpose perfectly. For anyone not sure why their vision is just a little fuzzy and suspect they have a small amount of uncorrected astigmatism, these test lenses will settle the issue independently of a full vision test at an optician. In my case I needed to make up some temporary distance glasses. Lenses up to 2 dioptres are easy to source on desertcart but I never thought I would be able to tune out the small amount of residual astigmatism as well. Then I found these cylindrical lenses. Whether they are the absolute limit in quality and precision I don’t know (for the price one would not expect the ultimate in precision) but they were certainly precise enough for the reasonably critical use I purchased them for. footnote - the markings identify the cylinder axis correctly, when measured with a micrometer the glass is thinnest where the axis marking is, so since these are concave lenses this is correct.
