SHINESTAR 6-Pack BR30 LED Bulb 65W Equivalent, Recessed Light Bulbs, 2700K Warm White, Dimmable, 650LM, E26 Base

These are decent looking bulbs, plenty bright and dimmable, though I can't speak to anything else about them and this is why... Sadly, my new bulbs stuck out about 1/4" beyond my recessed light fixtures and defeated their purpose (looks weird). Unfortunately, I didn't use the bulbs until the return window closed. Maybe someone out there in Shoppingland will learn from my mistake. Be sure to measure before ordering! :-)

Needed a good reliable light for my father in law. These lights fit the bill and were a great purchase.

We use the LED bulbs in two uplights. The bulbs make a warm bright light and have a good size for the lamp. The bulbs also feel sturdy and are good to handle. I am going to try the daylight version for our garage.

The BR30 fixtures in our basement were filled with a mishmash of CFL and LED bulbs, of different color temperatures and brightness levels. Most of the CFLs took a long time to reach full brightness, a couple of them buzzed annoyingly, and some would flicker intermittently. Maddening!I replaced all 10 bulbs at once with these, and for now, I'm in heaven. Or at least as close to heaven as my basement can be. These all have uniform brightness, none flicker or buzz, even in the cheap Lutron dimmer switch on one circuit, and I like the 2700K color temperature. For now, all is well.These were packaged very smartly in a surprisingly small box. Part of that is due to the physical size of the housing. They are less bulky than all of the other bulbs that I removed. I will also note that they are very lightweight -- you might even say cheap feeling. That does not bother me so long as they last a good long while. It is possible that they skimped on heat sink materials here, which would probably translate to a shorter life, and flickering or buzzing happening sooner rather than later. But until/unless that happens, I am not going to remove any stars from my rating.Speaking of stars, you have to chuckle at a company named SHINESTAR that specializes in barbecue grill equipment...and also sells a few LED bulbs on the side.5/5 stars for great initial experience and low price. I will update my review if issues arise.
