I needed something fairly small with several ports to charge my phones and kindle when I am in the living room. I also wanted it to have at least a couple of outlets too. This portable surgetek fit the bill perfectly. I have it right on top of my light base. Now, I can sit in my chair, watch tv, and charge my phone. I can also read from my kindle while it is plugged in so I don't run out of charge. When I go upstairs, there is a switch I can turn off so power doesn't continuing running through it when I go up to bed at night. I can tell the power is on via the light through one of the open USB ports. I guess if I had anything to change... it would be add a charging light. Nevertheless it is perfect... just what I needed.

PROS: Creates a more streamlined workspace - USB ports are very handy for charging smart phones, tablets, etc. Power strip is designed to be on your desk, which is much more convenient than having it on the floor.CONS: Quality is so-so. I bought this item in April of 2018. In October 2021, it quit working. I didn't abuse it, or plug in any crazy devices. It would have been nice if it lasted longer than 3 years, as it is a very simple, practical design.

This is an awesome product. I initially bought 2 and loved them so much that I bought 6 more for the night tables in our guest rooms. Our overnight company so appreciate the easily accessible electric outlets and the convenience of leaving at home their charging blocks. And so affordable, too! I might buy 2 more for traveling for my husband and me!

I love these power strips. Great for their use. I appreciate the high-power USB plugs. It allows us to charge several devices at once. There are only 4 AC outlets, but this works great for our little desk in the kitchen, and also for behind the bed.

I think this would have been a great product at a good value IF it weren't defective upon delivery. All four of the USB charging ports do nothing at all. The white "charging LED" constantly blinks on and off at all times; however, no device that we plugged into the ports get charged. Returning this for a refund. What a disappointment and waste of time and money.
