Heats up fast and holds the heat in well.
Based on ATK's recommendation, when we decided to replace our 12-YO Charbroil grill, we chose this one. Although I would have preferred to get it locally, Amazon had it on sale, and we saved about $30 by ordering it. It arrived on time, all securely packaged -- to the point it was difficult to remove from the box. Assembly took two days, mainly because of a late start on the first day, and was accomplished with a minimum of swearing or re-tracing steps, and completed yesterday afternoon. We love that it already comes equipped for natural gas, so we didn't have to buy the extra adapter for that -- or fuss with installing one. (Installing the natural gas adapter on our old Charbroil grill led to quite a bit of swearing back when we got it....) We used it both last night and this evening, and we're so happy with it!First impressions: wow, this thing gets hot! And in a hurry, too! Our old 4-burner grill would take 20 minutes or more to heat up to 350 - 400, and you nearly melted if you got close to it while all the burners were on. This heated to nearly 500 degrees in 10 minutes with all three burners on, and holds the heat in so well you don't realize how hot it is until you open the lid. I love that the handle on the lid is not metal, so you don't burn your fingers on it. It also ignites much more easily and quickly than the old grill did, so that's a plus. And frankly, we haven't really lost that much cooking space by going down a burner, because the cooking area is quite roomy. Last night we used it for the first time, on a bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin. We didn't brine the meat or anything fancy, just put a bit of Harley's Sweet Rub on it, wrapped it in bacon, and cooked it over the middle of the grill, with just the two side burners going on medium-high. The roast was done in about 35 minutes, with good grill marks, and still tender and moist. Tonight we grilled 4 chicken thighs (skin on, bone in) that had been brined for about half an hour. Again, we preheated the grill, oiled the grates a bit, and put the chicken on skin-side-down in the middle of the grate, turning the middle burners off and leaving the other two burners on medium-to-medium high. Turned the chicken after about 20 minutes, and it was done in another 15. We love the open cart, the way the box holds in heat, the ease of cleaning the drip tray, and just how well it cooks. Oh, and we got the Weber grill brush, and that works well, too.

Excellent grill!
I bought this for a birthday surprise for my hubby and I really wanted for it to be assembled, but that was not an option. So I had to tackle the assembly by myself. I will admit that it took me many hours to put together, but I was able to do it by myself. For the record, some of the pieces are heavy and two people working together in my opinion would be the way to go. But I felt very accomplished knowing I truely was able to give my husband a gift, an assembled grill. The best part about this grill is the option to hook up to our gas line to the house. No more propane tanks for us! We love it. We actually grill way more than we ever have due to the ease of it all.The downside to this is the manufacturers customer service. It was horrible. Once we connected the grill to the house and started her up, the grill became a furnace that sounds like a jet plane. It heated up so fast that we knew something was wrong. My husband called customer support and they basically told him he was an idiot. The grill NEEDS a regulator to control the gas intake. My husband ended up talking to multiple people that work in the gas industry and we bought a regulator and installed it and she works like a charm. JUST DON’T EXPECT ANY HELP FROM WEBER CUSTOMER SERVICE!We do love the grill.

Best grill I have ever used.
For years I had a grill that I converted from propane to natural gas. Even though I bout the correct kit the flames were always too high and I burned food. This grill solves that and more. Like my old grill meat still cooks a little faster in the back than the front. However, this grill cooks different kinds of meat perfectly. I was concerned at first because even on the lowest flame settings the temp gauge read 350+. I was pleasantly surprised how well everything turned out. Can barely see any flame even though it warms quickly and quite well. Will never go back to propane! The other huge bonus is the thick cast base. Other grills have thin sheet metal that corrodes and rusts quickly. The drip pan is superior to any other grill I have had. I especially like the fact that the left side shelf can collapse. My one complaint is that because the left shelf can collapse and you need to lift that part to roll the grill, the shelf can easily come loose and collapse when trying to roll it. Otherwise well worth the money after years of using cheaper grills.

Great grill from Weber!
Package arrived safely and undamaged in record time from when I placed order. Opened package inventoried all parts and proceeded to follow the step by step directions provided. Everything worked perfectly and was really easy to assemble following the instruction booklet finished the assembly in about 2.5 hours. Picture above after finishing assembly before taking outside to use. This is my first experience with a natural gas grill having used an18 year old Weber propane grill which told me it was time to retire although still useful. I was tired of having the tank refilled so went to the natural gas model. Had to get one fitting to connect the quick release that came with the grill to my existing, but pipe plugged, gas outlet on my porch. Easy to obtain from local plumbing store but probably could have gone to a big box store for that part. I have used this grill several times and found even heat and exceptionally fast warm up time. Really enjoy my new Weber Natural Gas grill and the speedy delivery from Amazon.
